I laugh as I run away from the duo then, suddenly I run into someone. "Ah, sorry, I really didn't see you there!" I apologize to the person that I just bumped into, Coulson. "It's okay Daniel." He replies with his signature smile. I wave at him as I heard Nat and Steve getting closer. "That little bastard!" I heard Natasha yell.

Oh, I'm dead, aren't I

Eventually Steve caught up to me and yanked me by my jacket, "Don't tell anyone." Steve said with a very stern voice. "Fine." I reluctantly agreed, while rolling my eyes. Because if I didn't, I would be dead in the hands of Natasha. "Good." Natasha smiles and walks off, signaling Steve to come with her. I just shake my head and laughed.

An hour later

I've really been thinking about Fury's offer, I mean it seems fun to help my friends with missions, and I guess Fury is sort of correct with me being good at fighting, hmm, I guess I'll accept it, i mean it wouldn't hurt, right?

As I was about to clock out, I go to the elevator. "Where to, sir?" J.A.R.V.I.S. asked, "Fury's office please." I reply. The elevator dinged and I look to see Fury at his desk looking at some files. "Yes just intrude in without asking me first." He said in a very clear sarcastic tone

"I accept." He looks up from the files and looks me dead in the eyes and said, "Good, tomorrow morning, 9 AM, meeting room." Then tosses me a file. "Alright? Bye!" I wave before entering the elevator again and asking J.A.R.V.I.S to go down to the basement level.

As I put my keys in the ignition, I feel like I'm missing something... my helmet. It's in the gym. I gotta go get it, need to be safe. As I climb the stairs I notice that it was quieter than usual, but just choose to ignore it. I finally got to the gym and saw Steve punching the shit out of the punching bag.

"Calm down soldier, take care of the knuckles." I seem to have spooked Steve, because he had jumped a tiny bit, "I thought you would be home by now." He said while swiping some of the hair that was on his face to the side before continuing to punch with full force. "Forgot my helmet. Alright, bye! I'll see you tomorrow!" I waved, "bye, be safe!" He replied.

Okay, now that I got my helmet I can finally go home and rest. Today was a pretty short day, I usually had to train a multitude of people, I only had Sam this time. I didn't even get to eat my sandwich. I shake those thoughts away as I arrive to my apartment building.

I take the elevator and press the 23rd floor, I waited and pulled out my phone,

Because I was working, I couldn't be on

And as per usual, Crystal ignores me for days at a time, I'm thinking of breaking up with her, I always have to take the blame for everything, maybe tomorrow.

As the elvator doors open, I see Mrs. Lilian, and greet her, "Hi, Mrs. Lilian!" Waving at her. "Hi, Daniel!" She waves and continues walking around in circles, she does this a lot for her daily exercise.

I get to my apartment door and unlock it. Behind the door was my neice, Clara. "Clara!" I open my arms to hug her. "Uncle Danny!" She immediately jumps into my arms, I carry her on my side and close the door with my foot.

"Where's papa?" I ask her while tickling her stomach with my finger. "Bathroom." She said between giggles. "Vin?" I call out, "Shower!" Calvin answers. "So have you eaten, buttercup?" I ask, "Not yet, papa was in a hurry." I huff, knowing that he probably was going to an event, and couldn't find a babysitter. "Alright what do you want? Nuggets?" She nods her head, I mean she is a five year old, five year olds love nuggets.

I smile while taking out a frying pan and setting Clara down on the countertop. I grab some cooking oil and put some on the pan, I grab the cold chicken nuggets from the fridge and set it down. I turn on the stove and waited for it to heat up the pan. I grab a spatula and put some nuggets on the pan.

After the nuggets were done, I grabbed a plate for Clara, this time I picked out a plate that had Winnie the Pooh on it, she loves Winnie the Pooh, her wardrobe is full of Winnie the Pooh characters. I smile at her before picking her up and setting her down on the couch with her plate of chicken nuggets.

I turned on Winnie the Pooh on the TV to keep her entertained for a while, as I walk to the kitchen I hear Calvin saying bye to Clara before stepping into the kitchen and waving at me before closing the door behind him.

While I do the dishes, I think about what activities I should do with Clara today, maybe to the park? Ice cream? The mall? Yeah let's go to the mall, we can eat, get ice cream, and shop. Hope Vin doesn't mind that I buy her some new Winnie the Pooh dresses. I finish washing them and put them on the drying rack. "Hey buttercup, wanna go to the mall?" I call out, but hear no response. So I dry my hands and check to see what she was doing, to see that she was fast asleep.

I chuckle at the cute sight before me and took a quick picture

"I guess we'll have to do that mall thing another time." I whisper to myself
