"hush my darling" the man with golden skin said while caressing the crying lady's face who was wrapped tightly in his arms. Her tears were like melted silver on her ghostly complexion. Her silver hair was wrapped around his fingers as they stared at one another with a heart breaking realization that this would be the last time they would ever hold each other.

The man tried to smile at her in hopes she'll give him a laugh that makes the world shine a little brighter because it makes him shine a little brighter. They weren't aware of how dangerous their love really was until they spent all their time together, not understanding why the world they built together was no longer as strong as it once was.

With Her absence, the oceans stopped dancing because she wasn't there to watch the show they spent years perfecting. With her around him, he shines brighter, burning the world with his flame, even by accident. It was an eternal dance with death when they were together, but it felt like death being apart forever.

Her tears combined with his as it fell from their faces. The melted silver and an eternal flame combining at the exact moment when hitting the earth below them, creating a break that was permanently caressed apon both their hearts. The world they loved made the deepest valley to remind each other of the destruction their love causes, killing the green and inviting the creatures of poison and pain.

They stepped back from one another to prevent more damage and they began to extend that distance without looking away from the others tearful eyes. Even though the pain in their hearts now hurt more than a vipers strike, they knew every so often, they would see one another at the end and beginning of every day. They would even be able to hold one another when the universes aligned. When those days came, the world below them would celebrate and cheer in the darkness their love casted apon them. Because those moments weren't as dangerous as it once was, it was rare and full of beauty.

The reminder of the destruction their love causes is permanently scarred into the earth, but it's also seen as beauty. The sun and the moons love is beautiful and deadly and they pass that reminder every day when the Grand Canyon comes into view for them.
