"who the fuck are you?"

the trio made their way to chicago. stefan and daphne had no idea as to why they were heading there; but they knew not to argue. the hybrid had been quite angry since his hybrids failed, and it was justified. the hybrid beamed as he stepped out of the car, his eyes settled on the vampires. "welcome to chicago, guys."
stefan furrowed his eyebrows, looking around at their location. they were in a storage unit, and it was clear they were pretty far from the city. none of them could hear the sound of traffic, which was a given in a big city. daphne took a step forward. "what is this? you giving us a tour of a storage unit? showing us your siblings in boxes?"
"yeah, what are we doing here?" stefan agreed, raising his eyebrows.
"i know how much you two loved it here." klaus grinned. he opened a door, and revealed the lights of chicago below them. "bringing back memories of the good old ripper days?"
stefan shook his head. "blacked out most of them. a lot of blood, a lot of partying. the details are all a blur."
klaus' eyes then shifted over to daphne. "what about you, love? any memories?"
"no?" she spat, eyebrows furrowed. "i've never been here. what are you talking about?"
he smugly chuckled. "that's what you believe." he then looked between the vampires. "the details are what make it legend. word was, the ripper of monterrey got lonely, so he escaped off to the city for comfort. it was prohibition; everything was off limits then, which made everything so much fun. chicago was magical."
"yeah, well, i'll take your word for it." stefan said bitterly. "like i said, i don't remember most of it."
"down to business, then." klaus huffed, closing the door.
daphne cleared her throat, crossing her arms over her chest. "klaus, why the fuck are we still with you? we had our 'fun', your hybrids failed, like don't you wanna move on? you know, not reminice on the past."
he completely disregarded her, scoffing. "we're going to see my favorite witch. if anyone can help us with our hybrid problem, it's her." he walked to the car, opening the car door for daphne. she got into the car, side-eyeing klaus.

daphne was very confused. klaus told them they were going to visit a witch, yet they were walking inside a bar. she wasn't complaining, but still. what the hell were they doing? daphne trailed in the back, next to stefan.
"looks familiar, doesn't it?" klaus asked the duo.
"i can't believe this place is still here." stefan said, a ghost of a smile on his face.
daphne furrowed her eyebrows, looking at her surroundings. she had the feeling she'd been at the bar before, but she couldn't put a finger on it as to when. a voice snapped her out of her thoughts. "you've got to be kidding me."
klaus grinned at her. "so, a hybrid walked into a bar, said to the bartender--"
"--stop." gloria almost instantly cut him off, holding her hand up. "you may be invincible, but that doesn't make you funny." her eyes then flickered over to the other two vampires. "i remember you guys. you couldn't keep your hands off of each other back in the day. both of you had your humanity off. killed off half of my customers."
