Lambert's pov
"Glory to the new faith and praise the lamb!" I said finishing my sermon causing my followers to cheer.
"And everyone I had a special announcement." I said until one of my followers interrupted me "Are you finally going to do my prank?!" They yelled while hopping up and down in excitement.
"No Lilith I'm not gonna trick Moon into eating a bowl of poop," I said in a monotone, causing some of the followers to whisper. "Aww but why not? It's so funny!" Lilith whined "Because It's not funny and It's barely even a prank! And I told you If you keep bugging me about doing this prank I'll make you eat a bowl of poop and forbid you from going to Hazel to heal you!" I yelled while pounding my fist on the podium. This caused Lilith to flinch in fear but also caused the rest of the followers to grumble angrily. I know some of them lost their faith in me hmm I should probably plan a bonfire or day off ritual to get their faith back.
"Anyway. My announcement is that I have successfully slain all the four bishops and their hold on the forest is no more. That means I am strong enough to free Narinder from his thousand-year imprisonment!" I said, causing my followers to cheer again all except for Hazel who had a worried look on her face.
"Now I suggest at least 20 of those who want to go to get ready, me and Hazel can't get into Narinder's prison realm without the help of 20 followers."
Thankfully 20 followers volunteered to help.
"Ok the rest of you you're dismissed, go do your duties. The 20 of you wait outside the entrance of the cult." I said and everyone left, leaving me and Hazel alone.
"That's the first time I've seen you yell at one of your followers and during a sermon no less," Hazel said with amusement in her voice.
"I know...I'm just so worried, scared, and nervous about what will happen if I free Narinder." I admitted to Hazel.
"Little lamb we already talked about this neither of us is sure what will happen when you free Narinder but If something does happen just remember I'm right there behind you," Hazel said while patting my back.
I started to feel a little bit better but was still nervous and scared.
"Now come on, let's get this over with," Hazel said as she walked out of the temple.
"Yeah," I said to myself quietly and exited the temple.Third person pov
When Lambart, Hazel, and the 20 followers made their way to the door beings were held close by giant chains. The group noticed the chains started to shake and break one by one and the door opened and the group made their way inside The Gateway.
When they reached the center of the room there they found a stone slab with a pentagram carved in it surrounded by water with 13 lit candles on the floor.
Lambert and Hazel walked onto the slab and turned toward the 20 followers.
"Ok everyone when you get into a circle start performing the ritual," Lambert instructed the followers who made small sounds in agreement.
Once the followers were in a circle they started the ritual and red mist came from each follower and made its way towards Lambert and Hazel.
The room started to turn red and both Lambert and Hazel's eyes started to glow white and they began to float out of the room into Narinder's prison realm. When the two opened their eyes the first thing they noticed was that there were weapons on one side and curses on the other.
"Why are these here? There's nothing to fight." Lambert wondered out loud.
"I don't know but I feel like we need them soon," Hazel said as she picked up the Godly Hammer and absorbed the Divine Blight curse.
Lament nodded grabbed the Necromantic Gauntlet and absorbed the Death's Attendant curse and the two made their way up to the awaiting three-eyed giant feline."Vessel, I relinquish you from your service to the Red Crown. Return it to me, and embrace the end that awaits.
With this last sacrifice of my most devoted Follower, I will be freed.
Finally... I will be FREE! Approach, vessel, and lay your life down at my feet." Narinder said.Suddenly all the followers appeared in both cages whimpering in fear.
Hazel immediately got angry.
"I knew it! The moment we killed all four bishops you wouldn't let the lamb live and take back the red crown you're just like your siblings! You'll demand someone do something for you with a reward in return but when the task is complete you'll take the reward away!" Hazel shouted, making Narinder growl.
"Silence you abomination! This doesn't involve you!" Narinder yelled back at Hazel.Lambert took the red crown off his head and looked at It not realizing tears streaming down his face.
"Lambert, don't do this! Don't tell me you came back to life, built a cult from the ground up, and went on this journey to kill all four bishops only to be killed again by one who brought you back! Please make the right choice!" Hazel bagged Lambert."I said silence you beast!" Narinder yelled, causing the chains behind him to shake.
"You know what? When I get my crown back the first thing I'm going to do is kill you like how I killed your sisters years ago!" Narinder yelled. The realm went completely silent except for the slight echo of Narinder's voice.
"You killed my sisters?" Hazel spoke in a broken tone.
"Yes I did, they were a nuisance. They kept attacking and killing and eating mine and my siblings' followers including the guards and executors and they kept sneaking into our cults and destroying incredibly rare relics! They were abominations that shouldn't exist and needed to be killed." Narinder said towards the windego with a calm malice in his voice.Hazel got down on her knees and started to silently cry as she mourned her last older sisters.
Lambert stared at Hazel in shock and disbelief. Lambert remembered how much Hazel loved her older sisters and how long she'd been looking for them. Just to find out that they're all dead by Narinder's hands."Enough of this foolishness! Vessel gives me my crown so I can get rid of this pathetic creature, and I can finally be free!" Narinder demanded.
Lambert furiously shook his head and let out a demonic roar and a pair of red wings appeared behind him before disappearing and the red crown floated onto his hand and transformed into the Necromantic Gauntlet."So you have betrayed me, Lamb. You have shunned my gospel and claimed yourself a false idol. The crown is mine by divine right! You think to stand in the very face of death?" Narinder growled.
Lambert ignored Narinder and turned his attention onto the still-crying Hazel."Hazel I know you'll never get the chance to say goodbye to your sisters and they were your only family members but I believe if it was you who got killed by Narinder I bet they would fight back to avenge you," Lambert said to Hazel trying to encourage her.
Hazel sniffed before speaking. "Really? You think they'll fight to avenge me If I was killed by Narinder?" Hazel asked.
"Well as much as I know how much you love your sisters and as much as you told me they love you I'm positive," Lambert said with a smile.Hazel smiled as well and wiped her tears. "You're right! My sisters will fight to avenge and I will fight to avenge them!" Hazel yelled as half of the crown floated onto her hand and turned into the Godly Hammer.
"You're going down Narinder!" Hazel said as she pointed the hammer at the giant feline.
