Day 2 of the Hotel Quarantine. (Continued)

Everyone shrieked, for they were all quarantined and without power. The thunder cracked and boomed outside, striking fear into most, as everyone was fragile, afraid and paranoid ever since the breakout.

Everyone got up and tried to navigate themselves back to their rooms, everyone bumping into one another.
Someone bumped into Microphone's button, to which she echoed a very loud yip. There was a displeased sigh from everyone, who was still trying to navigate to the stairs. There was a lot of small thuds, people bumping into walls, each other, furniture, and all while thunder would boom at random in the background. Oj, very much worried about how the weather was looking, couldn't sit still. Everyone and everything was still and quiet, and that had him anxious.

Everyone sat in their rooms, and yinyang knocked on OJ's door, with some things about what the Cherry had said.

O: "Come in, yinyang. What did he say?"

Yin was the only one who spoke, as yang had gone quiet. There was no evil-doing or joking material now that there was a very serious situation going on probably globally.

Y: "He told me about how attached they felt to their brother. It was deep, and thats most of what they said in the beginning of the conversation. Then, he moved onto what was happening before he opened up about what the outside was like."

O: "Huh. Did they tell you how long they were out there before they came to the hotel?"

Y: "Yes. Apparently, it didn't start with MePhone.. They had cut their stem about a month before Fan even noticed MePhone's illness. Is there a chance MePhone had disappeared for a bit BEFORE fan found him?.."

O: "Well.. I DID hear that he had gone on a "trip". He didn't tell anyone to where, he just said he might have a v..vaaa... vaccceeaaaaaaa...tion.."

He struggled on saying the word, as he had been used to working without rest.

O: "So, did it.. COME from somewhere?"

Y: "They don't know. We don't either, sorry.."

O: "Alright.. Thank you, yinyang."

Yinyang nodded, promptly getting up and leaving, sighing when they saw the hall, running a hand along the wall to navigate where their room was.

There were many mishaps, sometimes people would walk into the wrong room, and it would be fine. Others had flashlights, candles, lanterns, etc.

Test tube had been getting better, and at least made an attempt to show up to the group activities everyone was doing. She was talking again, sleeping normally, and Fan had been relieved to see it, since he had worried about her and helped her get back on her feet.

The lights did flicker every now and then, and Lightbulb, who could light up, was a bit annoyed by the number of people asking her for favors related to her light-giving. However, she dealt with it, since she knew that people would need her.

Even more paranoid now, OJ decided to head downstairs, because the schedules had started tomorrow, and he didn't know how many people they're need. He clicked on and ventured through the long hallway. He grabbed the railing as he headed down the stairs, and almost had a heart attack when they saw Suitcase at the table with a half empty glass of orange juice.

O: "Suitcase!! You-- you scared the shit outta me!!" He'd whisper-shout, almost dropping his flashlight.

Suitcase looked disappointed, and bothered, squinting when OJ shined the bright flashlight on her.

O: "What's wrong now? I mean, you just gave me a heart attack, but I'm sure it'll all be fine."

S: "No, no I'm good. I just felt like I should tell you that Knife and Trophy aren't doing well. Knife seems guilty about something, and, well, I know I might not be the gossiping type.. but.. word got out that cheesy died, and trophy.."

She grimaced. (😬)

O: "oh.. OH." He raised an eyebrow, because he knew what he meant.

Suitcase got up from the table and put his glass in the sink, drinking the rest of it in one go as to not pour it out and/or waste any.

Oj looked at Suitcase weirdly for drinking that in front of him.

(A/N jit was weird for drinking oj in front of oj that's crazy 💀)

Suitcase left the kitchen without a word, almost unbothered by the lack of power.

Oj trailed a hand on the walls to the fridge, using it to navigate, and with his flashlight, read the number on the room he'd reached. It looked about right, and now he could sleep without worrying. He hoped this would work out, and went slowly back to his room, back up the stairs and thru the hallway.

He reached his own room, opening the door and seeing paper facing away from the door, asleep. Oj couldn't help but smile a bit, forgetting the apocalypse just for a second when he saw Paper.

He's just your best friend.

He reminded himself, clicking off the flashlight and setting it on his nightstand, having a seat on his own bed, lying down to fall asleep.

Thunder kept booming outside.
How everyone wished it would just go back to normal.

(Srry guyz no cliffhanger this time ,:))
