It's been months since the Greene family took me in as I find out mystic falls doesn't exist, and the undead came alive. "Hope" I look up at Hershel "yes?" "Is everything okay, you haven't touch your food" "I'm okay just thinking to much " I stop playing with my food and being to eat "if you want to talk I'm here" I smile gently to Hershel's words "thank you" everyone begins to talk about their lives before the world ended with smiles and laughter.....

Next day
I woke up to the sun beaming through the window, as I finished taking a shower to only head outside. I took a book that Hershel recommended to me and sit down on the swing bench as I begin to read "Talk to Hershel!" My eyes look straight head to the field to see a cop holding a child "Hershel!!" I yell as the door opens "Hope?" "Maggie get Hershel someone is hurt" "daddy!!" The Greene family comes out to see a man coming closer with a child in his arms "was he bit?" "Shot... by your man" " Otis?" The man explains the situation as Hershel let them in "Patricia, I need my full kit. Maggie, painkillers, coagulates.. grab everything" he say. I quickly follow him to the room and grab the bed sheets. The cop lays the boy down "pillowcase" "is he alive?" "Fold it. Make a pad" I follow his directions "put pressure on the wound" it's a good thing I'm not a vampire right now

My body walks back outside as I lean on the railings "Hope" Maggie stands next to me "yeah" "Want to help me get his wife" "let's go" we walking to the horse barn. we rode through the forest "Hope are you okay?" "I feel like... I could have done something Maggie" she looks at me "you did" "ahhhhhhhh!!!" We both look at each other as we ride our horse more faster...
