It was a peaceful morning for her and her sisters. Kanao still stayed in her room, she hoped she would come out soon.

"CAW! CAW! Hashira meeting now CAW! CAW!" Her crow called, she looked up at her and sighed. Another one? It had been about four months since they had the last one. She left her room, attaching her sword to her hip, and made her way out of the estate, humming a small tune. She wondered what Giyuu did, he was a quiet boy who rarely came to the estate, and he was a rank below Hashira anyways. She wondered if he would become one, Murata talked often about Giyuu and his skills, and she hoped to see it. Giyuu never had injuries that affected his arms or legs so he never needed rehabilitation training.

"Nee~san, where are you going?" Her sister asked as she rounded a corner, he smiled down at her. Shinobu was such a lovely girl.

"I've been called to a meeting. I'll be back soon!" She said as she patted her head and exited the estate, shouts from her sister filled her eats before she (basically) teleported away. Oyakata-sama's estate came into view, the gates old, but seemingly freshly painted. She entered the estate. Hashira were the only ones allowed to just enter Oyakata-sama's estate. She hummed as she entered the courtyard of the estate, a cherry blossom tree planted to the side. Tengen Uzui was talking to Himejima Gyomei, a sweet 7'2 blind man. She walked up to them.

"Good morning kocho, how have you been," Himejima~san asked her when she appeared next to him, she looked up at him.

"Very well Himejima~san, how about you?" She smiled at Uzui and nodded in greeting. The flame hashira walked in, she couldn't remember his name. Shinjuro? That might be his name.

"Good morning my children." Oyakata-sama's voice rang through the courtyard, and they all immediately bowed to him. She looked up at him with a warm smile, she noticed a figure hidden in the shadow behind him, but he looked at the shadow. So she assumed the shadow wasn't a threat.

"I hope you are in good health Oyakata-sama," Shinjuro said, they all sat down, out of their bowing position. She took note that her comrades took notice of the shadow as well. Good, she thought, they were still sharp as ever.

"Namu Amida Butsu" Himejima~san prayed silently, she nodded. He always prayed before a meeting.

"Thank you. Now today you have a new hashira joining you. He will be the new water hashira" Oyakata-sama said she smiled happily, finally, they hadn't had a new hashira in the few years she had been one. "I hope you welcome him, Giyuu Tomioka." He turned to the shadow, she looked at Giyuu in surprise, she took a second, Oyakata-sama crow was with Giyuu before he left. She smiled, guess she was right when she said he would or she hoped he would become a hashira soon. Oyakata-sama stood, Giyuu stood behind him, his hair was still long. She wondered if he would ever cut it a bit, it nearly reached his thighs. His eyes examined all of them, a careful and wise eye. He bowed to them.

"I am grateful to be joining your rank." He said before he stood properly, Oyakata-sama whispered something in Giyuu's ear before turning to them.

"I must return to my family, please enjoy the day off." He told them as he left them, Giyuu hoped off the porch Oyakata-sama was one and joined them.

"Giyuu! I didn't know you became a Hashira." She said, poking him in the arm gently, she giggled when he looked surprised.

"I just found out a day ago." He told her quickly, he seemed nervous. She sighed, oh how that was common.

"So, how many demons have you killed," Uzui asked Giyuu while leaning over him, Giyuu looked down, she would talked to Uzui about personal space.

"Oyakata-sama said over 238." Giyuu said quietly, he stepped back out from basically under the sound hashira.

"Impressive. How old are you?" Shinjuro asked Giyuu, she noticed sweat drop from Giyuu's face, but he didn't back up this time.

"15." Giyuu muttered, Giyuu held onto his mismatched haori, she wondered where he got it from. But that wasn't important, she heard Giyuu had started at 13. He was quite impressive for his age, he rose to the ranks much quicker than the other ones from his selection.

"I hope you stay safe young Tomioka." Himejima~san said, he held his hands together and prayed quietly. She smiled.

"Well, since it's your first day as a Hashira, would you like to come have lunch?" She asked him, he looked at her, and she giggled at him. Everytime she talked to him or asked him something his hair would react like a cat. It was too cute.

"Um. Sure." He answered quickly, looking at the ground, she noticed he shifted on his feet.

"Well, you pick somewhere," Uzui said, patting Giyuu on the back, Giyuu flicked and stepped away from Uzui. She gave Uzui a look, he looked at her concerned, she gave him a quick shrug and turned to Giyuu. She would have to look into that later.

"How about Sapphire Thread?" She asked, Giyuu nodded.

"I don't mind." Shinjuro said, Himejima nodded.

"Well. That settled, I lead the way!" She clapped her hands together and started walking, the others right behind her. Giyuu trialed right next to her. She sent a glance his way, but he wasn't looking at her. She focused on the path. Why did giyuu flinch at Uzui just patting his back? She would ask Murata if he noticed anything. They had missions together from what Murata said, she would keep an eye on him for now.
