She opened the door for the others, Giyuu was the last one in.

"Good afternoon, table for five?" The lady at the front asked her, she nodded and smiled politely

"Any chance you have a large table for our friend?" She asked, she glanced at Himejima who was quietly talking with Giyuu.

"Oh! Umm. I'm sure we have one in the back." The lady told her and excused herself to check. She stood patiently, Shinjuro impatiently tapped his foot and Uzui chatted noisily about his wife.

"Follow me please," the lady said when she came back, she nodded and started behind her, and the others followed. The front of the restaurant bell went off a few times as they walked away, she hoped it wouldn't be too busy.

*An hour later*

She tapped her fingers rhythmically, it's been an hour and no one had taken their orders. Giyuu seemed more nervous than when they had entered, he glanced at her before looking away. Himejima pets Giyuu's head, surprised he looks up before looking at the ground. Shinjuro had been quiet, luckily, that man had a horrible temper.

"Sorry for the wait, what can I get you all." The lady from earlier asked them. She sighed and gave a smile.

"I'll have Fugu," she told her, she turned to the others, letting them order.

"I'll also have Fugu" Uzui said, handing her the menu.

"Tororo Kombu for me." Himejima~ san told the lady, and she nodded nervously.

"Miso soup with sweet potatoes," Shinjuro told her, she felt her anger build up, that man had no manners.

"And for you?" She asked Giyuu, he looked up at her, his hair out like a cat.

"Simmered salmon with daikon please." He told her quietly, she nodded and walked off. She sipped on the tea the restaurant provided for the tables, a simple green tea. Himejima~san had started telling Giyuu a story. She heard this story before so she tuned it out. Their food came out a moment later, and Himejima~san prayed before they started eating, Uzui leaned forward, she sighed. If Uzui was known for something it was talking to the most reserved people and getting information out of them, basically peer pressure.

"So, Giyuu. Mind if I call you that?" Uzui started, Giyuu looked up at him. She groaned internally, Uzui didn't even use his last name, did he have no respect? Giyuuu would decline, it took a few times healing Giyuu four times to let her use his first name. Did he ever give her the go-ahead? She was pretty sure he did.

"That's fine." Giyuu mumbled, he didn't look up at Uzui and played with the corner of his mismatched haori. Oh, guess she was wrong.

"Good. Pop quiz!" Uzui exclaimed Giyuu looked up surprised, she put her face in her hands, what the hell was he thinking?

"Not if Giyuu is uncomfortable." She told him sternly, Giyuu set down his chopsticks and pushed the half-eaten food away from him. She looked at him, was he not hungry? While most of it was gone, she would have thought he would have eaten more.

"I'm sure he wouldn't mind." Uzui rolled his eyes at her, she felt a vain pop out he got under her skin sometimes.

"It's his first day, and his first hashira lunch, I would think he would like to just eat?" She turned to him and pushed the bowel of Simmered salmon with daikon to him, she hoped he got the message that she wished he would have some more.

"You're no fun. It's not going to kill him to answer a few questions." Uzui told her leaning back, "Right Shinjuro?" She was going to kill him.

"Well, it would be nice to know more about our newest hashira." Shinjuro said, turning to Giyuu and raising a brow. Giyuu looked away and seemingly shrunk, trying to hide behind Himejima~san.

"Well, it's settled!" Uzui said loudly and leaned forward, Giyuu looked at him nervously, but sat up straight. She sighed. Oh how stubborn boys were. "Okay, first question. Have you ever had a lover?" He put his head in his hand, God was he trying to piss her off?

"N-no." Giyuu stuttered, Uzui rolled his eyes.

"Boring!" He groaned out, she looked at him.

"May I remind you that Giyuu is 15." She told Uzui hotly, she took a breath and had some tea.

"Right..." Uzui trailed off. "So! What was the most difficult mission you had?" Uzui asked Giyuu.

"Umm." Giyuu looked down, his brows deepened. "I guess my first mission?" Giyuu answered, but it sounded more like a question.

"Why would you say your first mission?" Shinjuro asked Giyuu, he shrugged.

"Fresh out of final selection." Giyuu muttered, he picked up his chopsticks and began eating again. His words were cold if anyone noticed but it seemed the others didn't notice or it went right over their heads.

"What's the water estate like?" Himejima~san asked Giyuu, who looked up at him, she leaned forward no hashira had been to the water hashira estate in nearly a hundred years. Sakonji Urokodaki was the last water hashira from what she could gather.

"I have not been to the water estate yet." Giyuu told Himejima~san, she sighed. Man she was hoping to visit the water estate after lunch.

"Why didn't you become a hashira much earlier, especially with your kill counts over 200." Shinjuro asked Giyuu, she looked at him she was curious about that as well. He needed only 50 or a twelve Kizuki. Giyuu had 238 kills, and he was fifteen.

"Oyakata-sama wasn't informed when I had killed fifty demons, I never kept count myself." He said, he picked and pushed around his food. Seemingly losing his appetite.

"That is weird, I've never heard of that happening." Himejima~san says she nodded in agreement. She might have to check her history book again but she never heard of a case of a demon slayer killing fifty demons and the Master not being informed. Lunch ended soon after. Giyuu stood to the side as they talked. She came up to him and gave him a warm smile. Giyuu nodded to her.

"Well. How was lunch?" She asked, she wanted his opinion maybe she could make more plans for hashira lunches.

"Well." Is all Giyuu told her, he stood in front of her awkwardly. Maybe he wanted to visit or go to his estate?

"Well, I hope you have safe travels on your way home." She told him, and he nodded and discovered. She would have to track down Murata at her estate and ask him some questions about Giyuu. She hoped he could give her some answers.
