{RENEÈ POV}

I woke up this morning warm, I turned in the bed and found myself facing towards Billie. Oh my god! I can't believe it. I slowly sat up from the bed trying not to wake up the sleeping vampire girl next to me. I rubbed my eyes and there was Olivia sitting on her bed looking at me. I cleared my throat "oh hi," I nervously said while I scratched my head.

A smile formed on Olivia's face, "you guys are cute. I was wondering where Billie went after the party." Olivia whispered and winked after the last sentence. "Well I'm gonna go get coffee with my friends, and leave you two be. And mainly let Bills sleep." she walked towards the door opening it quietly and before she left she glared at me. "You hurt her I'm gonna kill you," she whispered to me then shut the door.

God I didn't know her roommate would be a little scary. I turned back around to see the sleeping girl. My heart just melted watching her, my face started to blush. I got up quietly from the bed heading towards the bathroom and closing the door behind me silently trying my hardest to not wake her. I used the bathroom and once I finished I looked into the mirror. I washed my hands. God why does he have to act like this, the thought of him last night took over my thoughts. He still obsessed with ruining my life. I want him to get kicked out I really do but, I don't know how to tell anyone. I don't know if anyone will even believe me. What he did is like an ache in my stomach that won't go away. I just keep silent but, someday that silence will eat my alive. My silence of keeping Nicholas Hoskins secret. His secret of keeping me hostage, his abuse mentally and physically, and his raging homophobia.

My stomach was just hurting with the thought of all that. I continued staring into the mirror until my phone started buzzing, I looked over to see who was calling me. Unknown number. I already knew who it was.

I grabbed my phone hanging up the number and threw it in my pocket. I took a deep breath before I opened the door to see an awoken Billie. I walked over to her, she was sitting up and I could tell her pale skin was pinkish and redish. I put my hand on her forehead. "I don't feel good, my head hurts and it feels like my stomach is gonna drop outta me," she groaned and started to lay down again.

"Yeah I think you have a fever, which is strange because I didn't know vampires can get sick." I told her with a concerned look. "There's a lot you probably don't know about vampires" she forced a smile. "Well I'll be taking care of you, Olivia is with friends drinking coffee at the moment," I put my hair into a messy bun and put on my sweats. I walked into the bathroom again to rummage around to find something. I found some headache medicine and filled up a cup with water. I walked back out and put down her stuff on her night stand. "You need to take some of this medicine, drink some of this water and tons of rest, okay?" I sat on the bed with her. She sat up again "ugh fine" I gave her some pills and gave her the water to wash it down.

She layed back down and I covered her with a blanket, her eyes we're closed and gave me one of her silly smiles. I looked down at her and moved the hairs from her face just starring at her. I actually don't think anyone has ever made me this happy. Billie opened her eyes looked up at me "hey Reneè?" she said in soft tone, "yea" I replied. "If you don't mind me asking. Who was that man you were talking to last night that made you upset?"

I just stared at her and sighed. I looked away then spoke "he's my ex boyfriend. He thinks he owns me and still has a obsession with me," Billie's hand game out of the blanket to hold my hand. She just smiled at me and it made my heart feel warm, her presence just made me feel better. "You're still a wonderful person," Billie let out.

A smile formed on my face. "Let me see your phone so I can let Olivia know about you," I reached my phone out and she gave me it within a heartbeat.
