{RENEÈS POV}

it's been 3 months since me and Billie have dating. We've had our ups and downs but we managed. I love this girl so much I don't know what to do without her.

Today is parents day. The day where family comes to visit and see they're kids.

Shit. I gotta tell my parents about Billie, but they don't know I'm gay. And the fact that she is a vampire. Only my little brother knows and has kept my secret. I could tell them she's a friend but that wouldn't be fair for Billie.

I sat up in frustration from my bed thinking about those things. My bed felt empty without her in it even though she doesn't always spend the night with me.

"You ready for parents day?" my roommate asked from the bathroom who was brushing her teeth.

"A little. I just gotta figure out how to tell them about Billie. They don't know I'm gay. Especially that she's a vampire" I put my shoes on and then right after I threw my hair up into a high pony tail.

"It's gonna be fine I'm sure of it reneè. If the really loved you they would support you no matter what," she finished brushing and but her toothbrush away.

"Yeah I guess we will see, I gotta go and meet them down stairs. I'll see you around."

"Good luck reneè."

I walked out my room nervously playing with my hands. Fuck why does this have to be so hard. I hate this. It took me a bit until I reached the lobby. My thoughts drove me crazy and it made me over think that something bad would happen if I do tell them.

Three familiar people came into my sight, there stood my parents and my little brother. I quickly forced a smile. "Hey guys," I walked up to them hugging both my parents first then my little brother.

"How's school? Making friends?" my dad asked.

"Schools good, it's good. I have a few good friends and I'm friends with most of the werewolves in the universities pack."

"That's good!" my mom implied.

We all went silent and it became and awkward silence. My eyes fell upon the girl I love who was talking to some other people. "Guys I have something to tell you," my voice quived a little nervously.

I walked away to grab Billie buy the arm who was surprised by my touch. I dragged her back to my parents. "Mom. Dad, this is Billie. My girlfriend," my heart raced waiting for a response or just something.

They both just stood there in silence. Fuck fuck fuck! What the fuck do I do. I tightly held onto Billie's hand.

"I'm happy for you nae," my dad walked up to me giving me a hug. He patted my back, I looked over his shoulder to see the look on her face. Her face almost had no emotion. My heart sank.

I pulled away from my dad and took a few steps back, eyes stuck on my mom and how she looked at me. She looked at me like I was a monster. I grabbed onto Billie's hand again.

"Let's go. I'll see you guys later," I turned away from them walking with Billie. She looked up at me while we were walking, she knew I wasn't okay. We both walked until we were far from my family. She pulled me aside and stared into my eyes. I immediately felt like crying.

Fuck. She grabbed my hands massaging my wrists. A tear fell down my cheek. "Fuck," I let out.

"I'm sorry baby. It's okay. You're gonna be okay. She wiped the tear from my face. I took a few deep breaths preventing me from completely breaking down. I bent down as she grabbed both my cheeks and kissed my lips.
