{BILLIE'S POV}

the dark void surrounded me further as I sunk closer to the bottom of the ocean. It was empty and silent. My last breath escaped reaching for a hand that wasn't there. I hoped someone would be there to grab my hand only for nobody to be there. The sound of the water that surrounded echoed in my ears. I sunk further until a hand reached for mine. That hand was aggressive and reached until I felt their hand wrap around mine and pull me. They pulled me onto the surface only to see the man who hurt the girl I love most. His grin formed showing his horrific werewolf teeth.

I bolted awake. My heart going fast like it would burst out my chest. I clutched my chest and covered my mouth with my other hand as my whimpers tried escaping my mouth. Reneè was still fast asleep next to me. And so was Olivia in her own bed. I got out of the covers trying not wake her.

I sat on the edge of my bed with my feet barely touching the wood floor. I hung me head down while clutching my chest again keeping my mouth glued shut from my deep breaths of fear.

I got up from bed and walked over to the bathroom closing the door behind me. I stood in front of the mirror hanging my head down then looked up at the mirror to look at my reflection. God I hate nightmares like those. I took a deep breath. My gaze went over to a shaving razor, the thoughts soon tried taking over. Everything went dark. I almost reached for it but I quickly pulled away collapsing to the floor with my back on the wall. I couldn't do it, I've been clean for almost 2 years I cannot break it. I buried my face into my arms until I heard a knock.

"Billie? You in here? Billie?" Renee called out from the other side. My head lifted up to look at the door and watched the door open as I forgot to lock it. She came in and saw me on the floor and immediately crouched down in front of me closing the door. She plopped down in front of me and grabbed my face with both hands.

"Hey what's wrong?" A worried look took over her face.

"It was a nightmare, it was just a stupid nightmare. I'm sorry if I woke you." I told her as grabbed her hand.

"You're okay, you didn't. All I care about is you right now." Renee stood up and reached her hand out for mine as she helped me off the floor. "Come on, shower and get ready for the day. That'll help you feel better." she grabbed my chin and smiled at me.

"Okay" I sighed as a smile took over my face. She walked out as I turned the shower on and waited for me to finish. As a few minutes passed I walked out of the shower and my  phone buzzed with a notification. I turned my phone over to read a text.

The text was from Shawn saying: hey! You're brother gave me your number and wanted to know if you and reneè wanted to come over to pack practice to hangout. I get that reneè hasn't been to practice in months but I still want to introduce you to everyone since your girlfriend is friends with most of them. It's cool if you can't but please consider coming, I'll see if I can Finn to come so him and reneè can meet!

I responded to the text: sure, I'll go ask reneè and see.

I walked out of the bathroom after putting my clothes on and my hair still wet. I plopped down next to reneè on the bed. "Heyyyy reneè?" I looked up at her with my puppy dog eyes.

"Yes bills?" reneè giggled at me.

"Shawn texted me and asked if me and you wanted to hangout with the wolf pack and for me to meet the pack, and Shawn is bringing my brother so you can meet him."

Reneès smiled faded slowly and she sighed, "I don't know, the main reason why I stopped attending practice because of Nicholas since hes the beta."

"It's okay it'll be okay nae I promise. Besides Shawn and my brother will be there if anything were to happen." I grabbed onto her hand and rubbed it softly, "besides I can also meet your werewolf friends."

Reneè closed her eyes and let out a deep sigh, she opened them and a soft smile appeared on her face, "fine." I jumped up with joy but tried not to wake the still sleeping Olivia who obviously loves sleeping in. "Come on get dressed then!" I told her quietly.

An hour passed. Me and reneè walked towards the field with my arm wrapped around hers. Most of the pack was already here and along with other people watching in the bleachers since most people think it's attractive watching them.

Shawn saw me from a distance and lit up. He waited until I came closer to him. "Billie I'm so glad you could make it!" he came up to me and gave me a quick hug. He looked over at reneè and smiled "glad to see you here, it's been along while."

"Yeah, I've just been taking a long break." reneè replied. I silence was awkward until we then walked back were the pack was. We walked up to girl. "Reneè long time no see!" she came up to us and hugged reneè. "Hey. it really has!" reneè then grabbed my hand to show her me. "Marie this is my girlfriend Billie" as soon as she saw me she lit up. "Oh my god! She's adorable, she definitely fits your vibe." Marie said then gave me a big hug. "Nice to meet you" I let out.

I then felt a tap on my shoulder to see my brother finneas right there. "Finn!" I immediately hugged him tightly. Finn's glance fell onto reneè, "you must be the girl my little sister constantly talks about" he teased.

"Hi I'm reneè" she shook my brother's hand once he stopped hugging me. "Finneas" he replied.

"Okay come on! Practice is starting, welcome back reneè!" Shawn yelled out as he wrapped his arm around her and started walking away. She glanced at me and smiled at me then turned back around facing the field.

Me and Finn and up to the bleachers. "She seems nice" he told me. We were up at the bleachers until we saw a familiar face, Sabrina. We joined her by sitting next to her. "Hey Sabrina, what are you doing here?" I asked once I sat on her right.

"Oh omg hey Billie, I'm just watching my boyfriend. His names Barry" she replied with a huge smile."I didn't know you are dating a werewolf too" I told her with a surprised look.

Practice went on for another 50 minutes and practice would be over soon. Me, Sabrina, and Finn talked while watching the werewolves below practice and do whatever a werewolf pack does.

While my gaze stuck onto reneè I noticed something, I realized Nicholas had walked by her. And looked like he said something to her and once he walked away reneès body language changed. She looked up at me then looked away and walked off the field. I immediately sat up trying to make my way down the bleachers.
