We're entering the final arc of Unknown Experiments. With what I have planned, it's going to be intense for a few chapters, then calm down as we come to the finale. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy!

Lucia listened to the uproar of the experiments from the seats above the arena, but none of them could distract her from the thoughts beginning to swirl in her mind. She looked beyond the plasma shields at all of the experiments, catching a few of the voices shouting from above. "They all really want me dead. Well I won't let that happen. Not when I'm weeks from being released."
Lucia looked back ahead of her and saw Felix standing in the sand that covered the entire arena. He was only a hundred feet from her despite the three thousand foot length and the thousand foot width the arena held. Neither of them wore any armor, which meant the fight would be powers and experience only. "I have the experience, but he's got a variety of powers to copy from other experiments."
Lucia forced herself to stay put as Belos spoke. "For our finale, the Unknown Experiment will compete in the toughest battles. She's proven herself outside of the arena as a capable individual and strong enough to face even our night beasts, but where does her limits end? At what point does she run out of the strength to keep fighting? I believe now is the time to see for ourselves.
"Today, we are here to watch our top experiments fight! Death may come as a result, but it will be a show worth watching. I give you all our final contestants, and a battle to end our events between experiments! On my signal, let the battle commence!"
Lucia locked her sights on Felix as she clenched both hands, relieved she had left her beanie outside of the arena since this could be one of the more brutal battles she fought. She glanced at her metal arm, which had been covered with a coat that looked like skin to hide it. She formed a solid spear of ice in her left hand and engulfed her right in a massive eruption of fire. The flames licked the rest of her arm, but none of it hurt.
Lucia watched Felix as he began to utilize some of the powers that he had copied. From what she recognized as he hovered slightly in the air was Iron Skin and Seven-Seven-Three-Nine's abilities. Those were the only visual abilities she could pinpoint though. Whether he had any telepathic abilities copied, she wouldn't know until they fought.
Belos held his pause as he watched the two experiments ready themselves. He purposefully held them back from engaging in combat until now because he wanted to see how well they would fare against each other. "One who broke the system, and another who breaks the limits of their powers. And if he copies hers... well then this will be quite the fight."
Belos held his gaze on Felix and silently gave his condolences, knowing there was almost no chance he would win against Lucia. He opened his mouth after a bit, took a deep breath, and shouted, "Begin!"
The moment Belos shouted his command, something seemed to click in Lucia's brain. She felt an immense rush of pure hatred, seemingly from nowhere, and took off. She screamed from the rush and bolted forward, ramming her shoulder into Felix's stomach, which forced him to drop Iron Skin's power. She grabbed his leg just as soon as she felt him flying away and slammed him into the ground and swung with the spear. It bounced off just as he reactivated Iron Skin's power and grabbed it, then tried to punch Lucia. He missed, but a shockwave of wind threw her straight into the air and forced him to let go of the spear.
Lucia flipped upside-down and launched the spear, straight for Felix's arm. It stunned Felix momentarily, and she fell back down before knocking him away with a large whirlwind. She quickly hopped to her feet and ensnared his torso in a vine. He was pulled back towards her before she slammed her knee into his stomach and set the vine on fire. He broke out of the vine and immediately spotted Lucia bolting towards him.
