Hey,
I am thrilled to share this collection with you, A reflection of my life and my thoughts which I weaved from my personal experiences, dreams, nightmares, and emotions. I feel like this collection is a story depicting my heart's real emotions. What I think or what I feel in every piece of poetry you'll find a glimpse of who I am and what I think or feel.
Each poem in this collection is a reflection of experiences that lead us to where we find ourselves- the moments of vulnerability. imagination, nostalgia, love, hope, desires, and more. I hope as you delve into these poems and crack the lines you find pieces of yourself mirrored in these words.
I would love to know how each one of you feels when you read this and if was it effective enough to make me continue this thing I am doing.
Within the book, you'll find verses that explore different facets, I tried to divide them into 3 sides namely,
Side A- Gibberish feelings
Remember those butterflies, the laughter, those innocent moments of admiration, the excitement of having a crush? This side captures all these sweet sentiments, the joy, the longings, the sadness, the happiness of having a crush, the confessions, and more.
Side B- The scars I carry
This side has poems that dig deep into layers of my memories, unearthing moments from the past that shaped me. They speak of the heartaches, the suffering, the echoes of pain that was so searing that it healed me. I somehow survived the melancholy after being inside the labyrinth. It also contains the scars I carry and things that burn me in the middle of the night. Things I hate being defined by, but these are my scars, and I am trying to wear them gracefully.
Side C- Sweet fiction
These poetries were written when I was transported to somewhere the reality hides, the secret gardens in my mind. And I hope you'll get to see those gardens when you read them. Within this side, you'll encounter tales spun from the threads of imagination. These fictional narratives will make you see the resilience of characters who face things that happen somewhere in the real world. I hope this makes me alive in my fictional gardens.
