New surroundings, new role

[scene: Grigori Headquarters]

Akeno was standing outside the main building of the Grigori. She didn't know what to expect. Azazel was essentially throwing her into the deep end. She had to make peace with Nathanael, Semiramis & Albedo. And get their approval before she gets a chance to try to get (Y/n) to forgive her.

Azazel: Follow me Akeno.

Akeno: Before that Azazel, why did you bring me here?

Azazel: Well, Akeno since you can't continue your devil duties, and you want to repair your relationship with the others. The best way I could think of, is working in the Grigori and rebuild it from there where Nathanael, Semiramis and Albedo work at.

Akeno: I see.

Azazel: Good, now before we go in I should warn you.

Akeno: Warn me about what? Exactly?

Azazel: Almost everyone here doesn't like you. This is because they know what you did.

Akeno now was a lot more worried and annoyed with Azazel.

Azazel: Now, just stay close to me.

With that Akeno and Azazel walked into the building, Akeno stayed next to Azazel as the two walked through the building. Akeno noticed the looks from some of the members, however they didn't try anything as Akeno was with Azazel. The fallen Angels, glared at her as she and Azazel walked past.

Almost everyone in the Grigori knew about Akeno, what she did to her friends, has left a sour taste in their mouths and to see that she was here. They would normally do something about it. However things wasn't that simple for them. Akeno is still the daughter of Baraqiel. And they don't want to anger one of the strongest Fallen Angels of the Grigori. So they don't do anything.

Azazel then brought Akeno close to Nathanael's office.

Akeno: Azazel, where are we heading?

Azazel: Well to start you off, you will be working under my son Nathanael for a while. Consider yourself lucky, that I managed to pull this off. Because a lot of the members here wouldn't normally think twice of attacking you. However considering that you are with me and you are Baraqiel's little girl. They won't attack you out right.

Akeno would normally get angry at the mention of her father, however she didn't have the same hatred as before that Akeno has noticed and wondered why that was. This added to Akeno's concern regarding the evil piece within her. After seeing her Fallen Angel nature fight against the evil piece manifestation, she began to question the piece in her and what's its doing. As of right now, she hasn't talked to anyone about this. Considering she doesn't know who to ask.

The Devil kings had the evil piece system made to repopulate the devil race by reincarnation none devils into devils. So they would know about this. However she was reluctant to ask them. This is because they made the evil piece system and with how the manifestation of her piece said, Akeno don't know if she can trust their word about this. She wanted to talk to Rias about this however, the piece in her belongings to Rias's set, so she might know something about it. However from what her friends in the peerage said and behaviour, she wasn't sure.

So this leaves the Fallen Angels and her old friends. Although more reluctant to ask as her unstable relation to them, however it may be her best choice. Nathanael and Azazel was very smart so they could figure it out and her old friend (Y/n) is the current Dark Lord, so he might also know something.

Both the Fallen angel and hybrid reached their destination. The two could hear two people talking inside the office. Azazel then opens the door allowing both him and Akeno to enter. When Akeno entered she was shocked to say the least. The person her old friend Nathanael was talking to had a very striking appearance, she looked like her mother Shuri.

The person was a young buxom woman who has long, flowing black hair and red eyes. The woman was someone Akeno was also familiar with as well. The woman was the current head of the Himejima Clan, the same Clan Akeno is from, Suzaku Himejima. Akeno's cousin.

Nathanael: I understand Suzaku, but until my father gets back, they isn't much I can do right now. Also Slash Dog will be fine

Suzaku: My Second Cousin, Tobio Ikuse and his group has gone missing. Your father might not make it back in time.

Azazel: Are you sure about that Suzaku?

Both turned around to see Azazel, However when they saw who was with him they were shocked.

Nathanael/Suzaku: Akeno!?

Akeno: H...

Before Akeno could even finish what she was about to say Suzaku immediately cuts her off as She embraced Akeno. Akeno was surprised at first but she returned the gesture.

Suzaku: Akeno thank goodness that you are alright. But why are you here shouldn't you be with Rias and her peerage?

Azazel: I can explain that Suzaku, so you might want to sit down for this.

Azazel then began to explain what happened earlier and why Akeno is here. Suzaku was worried for cousin after hearing what Azazel has just told both Nathanael and her. Nathanael has let out a sigh as the news about Akeno has somewhat relieved him.

Nathanael: I see. So father you are putting Akeno under my care for the time being.

Azazel: Yes, I would like you to help me with Akeno and make her feel welcome at Grigori. Even if it is difficult.

Nathanael:...Don't worry I got a plan that can kill two birds with one stone.

Suzaku: And how is that?

Nathanael: Well everyone knows Akeno, well if Akeno was able to safely bring back Tobio Ikuse, a high ranking member of the Grigori, and his team back.

Azazel: Then opinions of Akeno would begin to change. And the members will be more welcoming towards her. You are a genius Nathan

Nathanael: Thank you Dad, now Akeno for your first mission, go and rescue your second cousin and fellow Grigori member. Tobio Ikuse and his team and bring them back safely. The way Grigori treats you after this mission depends on how well you do. Failure isn't an option.
