Training for the tournament

[scene: (Y/n)'s castle]

Thanks to Akeno, the Gremory Peerage was able to train for the continuation of the Youth Devil Tournament at (Y/n)'s castle. Upon arrival (Y/n) has selected people to train and spar with to increase the Germory fighting process individually and as a team. Currently (Y/n) has set up multiple training sessions for the Gremory Peerage.

Currently the two people occupying the training ground while others watch was Issei and Vali. The Red Dragon Emperor and the White Dragon Emperor. Two rivals started the training session for team Gremory. Both Issei and Vali remained outside of their Balance Breakers. Issei was determined to get stronger to protect the people he cared about. Whereas Vali thrilled on the chance to make his rival stronger so he may get stronger so match him, for when they have the inevitable battle beaten the two of them.

The Gremory Peerage sat on one side of the training area, with Rias and Asia the most on edge. Kiba and Xenoiva, watching the fight as they notice Vali had some experience with swordsmanship, mostly due to his training with Arthur on his team, and Tenka. Gasper was watching the fight nervous and somewhat uncomfortable. Due to being the Dark Lord's castle, have multiple people around and the Dark Lord himself watching from above balcony with a throne. Koneko was currently sitting next to her sister Kuroka. As Vali's team was sitting next to them. Funny enough Both cat sisters were sitting the furtherest away from Fenrir. While Rossweisse was one of the few that sat closer to Fenrir with an air of tension between the two.

Asia: I hope Issei will be okay.

Rias: I'm sure he will be fine Asia. Vali knows this is for training, and the Dark Lord is watching.

Rias and Asia both looked up and towards (Y/n) as he sat in his throne overlooking the sparring match with a critical eye, to see the growing strength of both Dragon Emperors, while also making sure Issei didn't try anything fun.

Asia: But does he have to be hard on Issei specifically?

Rias: I'm sure, it for training, and to allow to satisfy Vali. For the time being.

Kiba: I didn't realise Vali had some experience with swordsmanship.

Xenoiva: I agree, though I guess to do with his knight in his team and maybe sparring and fighting with other swordsmen and swordswomen.

Xenoiva looks over to Tenka as said individual was watching Vali fight, who had a smirk at seeing Vali being the stronger and more experienced fighter than Issei.

Xenoiva: Though I wonder who she is. And what her connection to the White Dragon Emperor.

Kiba: I wouldn't worry or think about it, instead we should focus on the spar, who knows we may get a chance to test Vali or Arthur.

Xenoiva agreed as she turned her attention back to the match, and looking at Vali's sword with interest. The white and blue coloured sword clearly reflected Vali's position as the White Dragon. So she was curious if Issei could also make a sword similar like that.

Akeno: What the matter Gasper?

Akeno asked the nervous hybrid. So he turned to Akeno.

Gasper: This place is scary, and I can feel the presence of other vampires. And... he scares me.

Gasper then gestured to (Y/n) in his throne over looking the sparring match. Akeno just laughs.

Akeno: Don't worry Gasper, (Y/n) won't do anything to you, despite his position. I know him well, and granted he can be scary, dangerous and powerful. As long as he doesn't have anything against you. You have no reason to nervous besides others around here won't try anything due to (Y/n).

Koneko and Kuroka both talked with each other as Koneko as Kuroka if she was willing to help her further her abilities in senjutsu, which Kuroka agreed without hesitation. Asia she started giving Koneko some pointers in aspects Koneko specifically asked for in areas she needed help with.

Meanwhile Rossweisse didn't say anything but focused on the fight. She knew who the being next to her was and what her former position and boss did, so sensing the tension and little hostility wasn't that much of a surprise to the former Valkyrie. So she decided it was best to not anger the wolf next to her, as she knows his role as one of the children of Loki.

Meanwhile the people that (Y/n) have selected to training the Peerage was sitting on the other side of the area. With Vali's group and (Y/n) being the one's to know who these people were. Also Tenka was sitting in the middle of both groups.

Meanwhile on the training area, Issei was attacking with an improved fighting style after multiple failed attempts and beatings from the Dark Lord, for his pervert tendencies around his castle. Whereas Vali was dodging and countering Issei's attacks. Both of them had an unconscious thought in their minds: not to use their sacred gears. This is due to both being natural opposites to each other. Issei's would double his energy over time, whereas Vali's will half his opponents energy in half over time. So Vali could take energy from Issei, only for him to recover it, whereas Issei could increase his power only for Vali to half it and return it to its original state.

Both dragons used their respective swords. Vali his sword he created, and Issei the anti dragon sword he was given from the Archangel Michael. Both fought, however it was clearly that despite the anti dragon properties of Issei's sword, Vali has much more experience with using a sword and eventually overpowered Issei and soon disarmed him of his sword, However, Issei didn't give up and quick boost his power and gave Vali a surprise upper cut to the chin, pushing the Devil Hybrid back as she grabbed his jaw from the blow of the attack.

Vali: Nice hit Issei, but this has just begun.
