Aemma's POV
My own face is no longer a handsome one if indeed it ever was. But tonight, I wish you to see me as I am. Not just a king but your father, your brother, your husband, and your grandsire. Who may not, it seems to walk for much longer among you. Let us no longer hold I'll feelings in our hearts. The crown can not stand strong if the house of the dragon remains divided. But set aside your grievances. If not for the sake of the crown, then for the sake of this old man who loves you all so dearly." He finally said, then sat back down.

Mother got up from her seat to make a toast.
"I wish to raise my cup to Her Grace, the Queen. I love my father. But I must admit that no one has stood more loyally by his side than his good wife. She has tended to him with unfailing devotion, love, and honor. And for that, she has my gratitude and my apology." Mother finished and sat
"Your graciousness moves me deeply, Princess. We are both mothers, and we love our children. We have more in common than we sometimes allow. I raise my cup to you and to your house. You will make a fine queen." Alicent said, and the king drank from his wine, everyone following him.

Aegon went to Baela and whispered.
"I regret the disappointment you are soon to suffer. But if you ever wish to know what it is to be well satisfied, all you have to do is ask." Aegon said and went back to his seat. And Jace got up angrily. But he calmed down and raised a toast. I rolled my eyes at Aegon.
"To Prince Aegon and Prince Aemond. We have not seen each other in years, but I have fond memories of our shared youth. Amd as men, I hope we may yet be friends and uncles." He sat back down

Heleana got up shortly after.
"I will like to toast Baella and Rhaena. They'll be married soon. It isn't so bad. He sometimes ignores you, sometimes not, especially when he is drunk." She finished and smiled. Poor Heleana. She has been through a lot because of Aemond, and nobody seems to care.
"Let us have some music." The king ordered, and the music started. Jace asked Heleana for a dance, and she accepted. We all started chatting. I talked with Baela. We were all friendly with each other for the first time in years. It almost felt unreal. I felt the burning gaze of Aegon behind me, but I ignored it.

Grandsire then said that he didn't feel good, so they took him to his chambers to rest. That's when the main dishes came. They put roast pig in front of Luke, making him smirk at Aemond, reminding him of the joke that happened years ago. Aemond proceeded to stand up to raise his cup.
"Final tribute. To the health of my nephews and niece. Jace, Luke, Joffrey, and Aemma. Each of them handsome, wise...strong. Let us drain our cups to these three strong boys and a strong girl." Aemond said
"I dare you say that we are strong again." Jace said angrily

"Jace... please, not today." I whispered to him
"Why? It was only a compliment. Do you not think yourself, Strong?" Aemond said, walking up to Jace, and Jace punched him. Luke went to Aegon, but Aegon pushed him on the table. Jace also punched Aegon with his own head, making his nose bleed. The guards then held Jace, and Luke and Daemon told us to go to our quarters.

Aemma's POV
I got ready for bed and braided my hair. I wanted to see Aegon, but it was wrong. He fought my brothers. At last I decided to visit him. I tip toed to his chambers. I opened the door without knocking and saw him in pain. He turned to see who got into his room and saw me.
"Oh, Aegon..." I whispered, shooking my head
"Aemma-" I cut him off by putting my finger in front of his mouth
"Let me take care of this."
I took the nearest alcohol around me and some clothing. I tor it up and pour the alcohol on it. I made him sit on the bad and walked in front of him.

"This is going to sting a little." I said and brought up the cloth to his nose. He winced in pain, grabbing my ass in the process. I didn't push him away. We stayed for a little more like that, and I moved the cloth to his other bruise. That one didn't hurt him that much because he didn't wince. Aegon pulled me on his lap. I, again, didn't protest

"Thank you, Aemma. You are like an angel sent from above." He said in a sleepish tone
"Oh, Aegon, this is too much." I blushed. I finally cleaned all his cuts and wounds and layed him on bed.
"Stay a bit more." He whispered, pulling me to his chest
"Aegon, you are drunk. You don't know what you are saying-"
"It doesn't matter. Please just stay."
"You know I can't. Good night." I gently kissed his cheek then blew out the candles in his room so he could fall asleep faster.

I got back to my room as quietly as possible, and in there, I found Jace, sitting on my bad, waiting for me.
"What are you doing!?" He asked angrily
"It's not what it looks like-"
"Oh, so I didn't look for my twin to see how she feeling only to find her bed empty and then see her walking in Aegon's room. Whom we all despise?!" He once again yelled at me, but I kept quiet
'I apologi-" I started, but Jace quickly cut me off
"You are a disappointment to the family."

"Why? Because I pity him?! Because I wasn't going to let him be all bloody and alone? Some people aren't as fortunate as us, Jace. We've got everything we wanted-"
"So, has he-"
"He hasn't got family! His mother beats him every day, alongside his grandfather, and his father has been barely present in his life, and we had three fathers! An amazing mother and grandsires and grandmother who loves us!" I finally let it all out

"He spent all his life bullying us. He has always been rude towards us, and now you are all good and nice to him. He doesn't deserve it!"
"Aegon has been like that only because his family had shown only hate towards him!"
"Aemma, you cannot trust him. He will bring you into his spider web, and he will manipulate you."
"I will be careful, but please, plaseee don't tell mother." I plaeded, and he looked motionless for a second before nodding
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I said excitedly, jumping around, hugging him. He hugged me back.
