Hearts In Opposition//Aegon ii Targaryen

Chapter 9

Aemma's POV
The next morning, I woke up in my chambers like any other day. I'm trying to stay away from Aegon as far as possible. It was embarrassing seeing him after last night's event. I can still picture him naked. Gods how I wish to repeat that. I was taking my usual route to the garden when my mother stopped me.

"Where were you, the previous young lady? You were supposed to be at the ball?!"
"I-I was, but I didn't feel well and retired to my chambers."
"Huh, if you say so." She quickly glared at me and then left

I went to the gardens for some fresh air when I was done. I went to have some breakfast. Almost everyone was there, including the Greens. Fuck I didn't think that could happen. Aegon was here for the first time at breakfast.

Alicent started talking about making a prayer while me and Daemon exchanged a look of disgust.
"Booring." I whispered to Jace and he smiled
We all closed our eyes and began the prayer, well most of all I wasn't included and neither was Aegon who stared deeply into me, almost eye fucking me. He removed my clothes just with his eyes. I remember his lips on mine. On my skin. Gosh. We stared at each other for a while until The Queen finished the prayer and we all started eating.

"So how are you all feeling in King's Landing after not being here for 6 years?" Alicent questioned and everyone had fake smiles on their faces while telling them it is pleasant. Truth is it is awful especially with the new 'decorations' around the castle.

We all fell into uncomfortable silence again. The breakfast finished more peacefully the the dinner two nights ago. I retired to my chambers and got ready for a ride with my dragon.

I went to the Dragonpit.
"Sȳz tubis Gael." I greeted softly
"Good morning, Gael."
"Ao jaelagon nykeā kipagon?"
"Want a ride?"
She nodded her head

"Who the fuck is Gael?" Aegon came out of nowhere all of the sudden. Ughhhh and I was trying so hard all day to stay away from him for nothing.
"My dragon." I simply answered
"Wasn't she Gaelithox?" He questioned confused
"Gael is for short."
"Ohhh." The blond said. He was for sure drunk by now as during breakfast time, he was already two cups deep.

"I bet me and Sunfyre can win in a race against you and your dragon." He smirked
"Oh really? Do you even know High Valyrian?"
"A little bit."
"Hah ao issi doru-borto hae nykeā turgon." I laughed

"Hah, you are dumb as a worm."
"What did you say?" Aegon asked not really understanding anything
"Mhm nothing.." I innocently said and Aegon got closer to me and I stepped away and accidentally hit the wall. He looked at my lips then my eyes. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me closer to him.
"Not now Aegon."
"Why not?"
"Because I have a deal for you." I siad and he raised an eyebrow
"Let's race with our dragons. If you lose I will do whatever I want to you..."
"And if I win, niece?"
"If you win..I will let you do whatever you want...to me." I said and he smirked playfully
"Deal then."

I led my dragon out of the pit and got ready for a flight.
"īlon jāhor ērinagon." I whispered in her ear
"We will win."
Aegon got on his saddle.
"Destination?"
"Dragonstone." He replied
"Fine."
"Ready? Go." He flew right away and my not so far from him

We were almost equal. My dragon was smaller and therefore faster, but he did a few tricks that got me.

I arrived at Dragonstone a few minutes after him. And he smirked victoriously at me. I glared at him. And I got off Gaelithox.
"I am impressed. Even though you know almost nothing in Hugh Valyrian but still command your dragon perfectly aaand you are also very tipsy almost drunk." I chuckled

"I know just the right amount to control my dragon and I have ridden drunk before so it is not a big deal."
He grabbed me by the hips and pulled me towards him. His lips almost touching mine.
"So about my reward..."
"Here and now?!" I asked, and he nodded
"I am just taking my reward." Aegon smiled and lifted me up and put me on his shoulder like I was some sack of potatoes.

*Later the same day*
After the little journey to Dragonstone I returned an hour before dinner. I went to see my little baby brothers in my mother's chambers. She greeted me with a stoic expression.
"Where have you been all day?" Rhaenyra asked coldly
"I was with Gael."
"Mhm and Aegon." She added and I looked at her dumbfounded
"Don't look at me like that. We saw both Gaelithox and Sunfyre today in the sky flying towards Dragonstone where I assume you two stayed all day."

"No we didn't. I went there alone and Aegon just crossed my path for a few minutes that is all."
"Then why the servants saw both your dragons together on the way back too?"
"We crossed paths again." I sounded so stupid right now.
"Why is your hair a mess and your clothes on the opposite side?" She asked suspicious. Why does she have to catch my mistakes all the time.
"My hair is like that because minutes ago I was on dragon back and for the clothes I guess I was all day like that because I didn't remove them."

At this point she was glaring at me so hard that she was throwing daggers at me with just her eyes.
"Good thing Daemon isn't here to hear of these things or you will be in big trouble young lady." Mother said and I nodded at her. She took all my desires to be here with my brothers, so I left.
