I did as I was told, raising my head from the coffee table and turning to Ren to see why he would ask me such a weird request. Not that I was even given much time to comprehend what was going on, because the next thing I knew, he was moving towards me.

Not even his next words were incomprehensible for me, but maybe I really was just unable to comprehend anything at all after what he did.

But then it hit, and my eyes finally widened as reality came crashing down on me like a big boulder.
