For as much as June could remember, she liked Ren since she knew about him in the school's math club back in her first year of high school.

He was the prodigy that immediately gained popularity for his looks and managed to gain the club president role because of how smart and well-managed he was. June, on the other hand, was the girl who was popular only for her wealthy background, and someone who somehow ended up in the math club because she was dragged into it by a friend who was insistent on entering the club all for the popular Warren "Ren" Abelardo.

That same friend quickly moved on from her "attraction" to him, though. But June? June wasn't so lucky.

Two years... Two. Years.

June just can't help but laugh every time she thought of that fact and that duration. It all looked pathetic to her, and even more so when she remembers that she still hasn't moved on at all.

But now?

Oh, she definitely has even bigger reasons to laugh at herself and the situation she had fallen in.

"If you study well for today, then I'll give you another one."

Those words didn't even get to be processed in June's mind as much as the kiss that Ren had placed so suddenly yet so quickly on her lips. And in response to all that, the girl just decided to widen her eyes and scream before falling off the couch she and her tutor were both sitting on. Her hand flew up to cover her mouth, and as she looked up at Ren, she gasped yet again as she came to realize what had happened.

"W-what did- That was- W-why in the world would you do that?!"

On the other hand, for some reason, Ren only seemed confused as he tilted his head at June. "Hmm? Was I wrong? You like me though, don't you?"

June's jaw dropped at the words she just heard before she pointed her finger. "I-I- W-what- Hey, that doesn't mean you can just ki-" She immediately stopped herself before she could say the word, though, and then she lifted her hand to her lips again, covering her mouth as she screamed.

"A-are you okay?" Ren eventually asked the more the girl panicked, and he stood up and tried to go to her, only to be stopped by June holding her palm out at him.

"Don't move! Stay where you are!"

Ren followed, surprisingly, freezing in place while he remained looking at June like he did nothing wrong. "What I did... was it really so wrong?"

Oh, it definitely was, but whatever made Ren think otherwise made him completely unaware to how panicked June actually felt, even almost rendering her frozen and speechless on the cold floor of her home's living room. "You can't just bribe me with a kiss! That's just gonna make me not want to study even more!"

"Oh," Ren replied so simply, making June fall into further disbelief at his lack of a proper response. Was he really just that dense?

"Oh my gosh, just leave already!" she shouted back, pointing towards the door to which Ren eventually turned to before looking back at June with furrowed brows.

"But we haven't even started anything ye-"

"I don't care!"

But Ren seemed so hesitant to leave. In fact, if anything, he really seemed like he had no intention of leaving at all until he finished what he came here for, and so, he stood up before looking down at June with rather cold eyes. "I'll give you some time to cool down." And then he went to the kitchen for a glass of water.

So, that happened. Not that June knew what to do about it at all. Her bewilderment was just too strong, and so she couldn't exactly think of what to do once Ren comes back. She could finish her lessons so he could just leave already, but did he actually mean it when he said he'd kiss her again if she did?
