Y/N's POV:

"I can't believe that my stomach started growling... how embarrassing.." I thought to myself as I buried my face in my hands.

My stomach started growling so Ace offered to take me out to eat dinner outside with him, and I accepted his offer without hesitation.

I don't do these types of thing usually, but I just don't know why I didn't even hesitate to leave with him.

Maybe things are starting to change.

I'm usually scared of changes—because getting caught up in the past just winds me back to where I came from. But not this time. I won't let the past get in the way of everything now.

The elevator came to a halt, following a 'ding' before opening it's doors. The raven-haired man beside me subtly grabbed my wrist and started to dash in the driveway again.

It's just like before again. It's like time stopped before my eyes, and the world just kept spinning faster—even though it shouldn't. It doesn't work like that because of the laws of nature.

But it did. How could he do something that only I could feel and see with my own eyes and soul? Is it even possible?

After what felt a while of running in the driveway, we finally got to his vehicle once again.

I reached out to open the door but I stopped when I felt a hand land on mine. I turned around to look at him, as he shakes his head, indicating that he should do it instead.

"Eh?" I thought, my mouth slightly opening from his action. His gaze shifted my direction and opened the passenger door for me.

I could feel my cheeks and the tip of my ears burning, but I couldn't help it. The only thing that escaped my mouth was "Thank you." As I got in.

The drive to the place where he was taking you wasn't quiet, not so loud either. It was as if—you were just enjoying each others company.

The lights dimmed, the vehicle slowing down to eventually stopping in its tracks after parking.

Y/N almost grabbed the handle to open the car, but remembered that the man next to her would most likely just open the door for her so she waited.

As she looks to her side, the man beside her was already gone, as he was already at the other side of her door.

Y/N's eyes lit up from his actions, and a smile creeping on her face without her noticing. How could a simple gesture make one's heart flutter?

Ace once again offered his hand for Y/N to take, with a subtle look on his face.

"Who could ever say no to that face." Y/N thought—taking his hand while getting out of the car.

"Thanks." Y/N said, almost whispering just for him to hear. Ace heard her response, causing him to smile at her. "You're welcome." He smiled.

While on the way to the restaurant, Y/N admired the warm jazzy lights of the city. It always felt nice at this time of the hour.

"My previous apartment is above the restaurant by the way." Said by the raven-haired man walking side by side next to her.

"Oh really?" Y/N responded and crossing her arms, enveloping herself with her own warmth and comfort. "This is way out of my comfort zone.." she thought.

"Well.. do you still own that apartment?" She continued to ask, while averting her gaze.

"Yeah.. I guess." Ace looked down, with smoke coming out of his mouth as he spoke.

Reaching the restaurant made you stop your tracks. The restaurant was small, ivy covered walls draped down, warm lights enveloping the restaurant.

Y/N could smell the fragrance of warm soup and dumplings from just standing outside.

....Growl.....

"Shit." Y/N mumbled. The man next to her shifted his gaze to hers, his face holding back a laugh.

Furrowing her eyebrows, she looked at him dead in the eyes. "Really." Y/N spat, while covering her stomach.

Ace let out a chuckle before putting his hand on top of her head. "Let's go eat?" He smiled.

Y/N's eyes softened, her mouth opening slightly before averting her eyes away. "Can I get soup dumplings...?" She whispered, the tip of her ears colored in pink.

Ace's face softened, admiring her quietly. Her features were something he could look at all day and never get tired of it, and he knows it himself.

"You can get anything you want." He looks at her face subtly, causing her stomach to drop.

"Let's go?" Y/N held her hand out this time, to the man standing beside her—causing Ace to widen his eyes in shock, but a smile crept on his lips taking her hand.
