Esmeray did in fact not go to the Slytherin vs Gryffindor, I mean to be fair for her she did muster up the courage to At least go to the quidditch stadium but upon reaching there, she realised

There far two many peopleShe would have to pick a side

For most Ravenclaws were sitting with the lions and the others with the snakes. She saw Draco, Pansy and Blaise Zabini all dressed in Slytherins colours cheering loudly and exactly opposite to them she saw Hermione, Ron cheering with some other Gryffindor first years and Hagrid, whom she remembered from her first day here.

Thinking she didn't really want to choose any side, she went back to her common room where she met Annabeth Yaxley lying on the couch. Since most of Hogwarts was empty they decided to roam around the halls and just talk.

It was quite a fun experience, Annabeth was quite the jokester and knew places in Hogwarts that Esmeray doubted she would've found herself.

After the match Esmeray and Annabeth came across five very angry looking Slytherins, Annabeth wanted to leave immediately but the pair came in sight of Pansy Parkinson whose eyes lit up at seeing Esmeray and called out to her

"Hey Esmeray, i didnt see you at the match, you weren't supporting Gryffindor were you" she said in a quite judgmental tone.

"No, I didn't attend, there was no place for people who supported both you know" Esmeray replied.

Pansy huffed " believe me, supporting Slytherin is better, You honestly won't believe what happened!! Bloody Potter caught the snitch with his mouth, like is that even allowed?" She said in an exasperated voice.

"And they call Slytherins cheaters" muttered Draco who was standing next to her "when I get on the team i swear I'll show those bloody Gryffindors how quidditch is played".

"I'm sure you will" Esmeray said trying to stifle her laugh, She could see from Annabeth's face how she found the whole interaction amusing as well.

Annabeth and Esmeray went to only one, the last match of the season Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw. For some reason Harry was not playing the match, and some random gryffindor who barely knew what he was doing was playing as seeker.

It was an easy win for Ravenclaw.

For the first time you could hear the Ravenclaw house make a lot of noise. Everyone was ecstatic for, this meant that Ravenclaw won the Quidditch cup!!!

Esmeray had never seen Avery and Celia so happy, they were cheering so loud that Annabeth had to slightly move away,she swore she saw Avery blushing while looking at one of the Ravenclaw chasers on the quidditch team.

With all her housemates absolutely acing their exams, Esmeray believed that Ravenclaw had quite the chance to win the house cup, but unfortunately Slytherin had done better so during the End of the year feast there were slytherin themed decorations all around the great hall, to celebrate their victory.

Esmeray believed they deserved it, Most of the Students who topped were from Ravenclaw, but if not they were from Slytherin. She also knew due to Pansy complaining on and on how much she had to study, they really worked hard for this.

When Headmaster Dumbledore announced Slytherin to be the winner, the whole table burst out in cheers. Esmeray hadn't seen the whole slytherin house so happy ever, they always seemed like the moody bunch.

But

She had heard that headmaster Dumbledore was full of surprises, out of the blue he told Slytherin to pause their celebration, and literally for the most dumb reasons ever gave Hermione, Ron, Harry and Neville extra house points.

Not just one or two, adding the points earned by the four of them, Gryffindor from 4th place went straight up to 1st surpassing Ravenclaw AND Slytherin.

The Gryffindor table burst out in cheers, including the hufflepuff and three- fourth of the Ravenclaw table, people really did hate Slytherin.

Esmeray didn't join in as much as the others because as much as she liked Hermione, Harry and Ron, she didn't see how it was fair to Slytherin at all. She could see the scowl set on Draco's face, no wonder he hated them so much. Esmeray would to if she were in his position

Could Dumbledore really give House points for a good game of chess? And what did Neville get points for ? Oh yes, being a good friend....

It wasnt fair at all.

This situation didn't really affect Esmeray, so she didn't ponder on it much. Overall she thought this year to be a success, and with that mood she bid goodbye to Draco and Pansy and boarded the Hogwarts express along with Annabeth more then ready to go home.
