"Please, Brother, do not make me do this!" Yoshi begged as he tried to defend himself against Saki. Never could Yoshi imagined this was how it would end. His own brother, his best friend fighting to kill him, his dojo burning into ashes. How did everything turn out this way? Why did it have to be this way?

At least Shen and Miwa were safe...

...

Meanwhile....

She thought they would work it out, hoped that they would stop this foolish rivalry over her but once she smelled the smoke, her eyes widened and she looked to see fire coming from the dojo. "Yoshi!" She gasped and was about to run back to help her husband but then, ninjas, from their clan came out of nowhere. "Lady Shen, come with us. We will keep you safe!"

Shen shook her head. "Forget about me, the dojo is on fire! Yoshi is still inside! You must help him!" The ninjas glanced at each other and Shen frowned in confusion until she saw a sign, of the Foot Clan symbol just right behind them. Pulling her daughter protectively over she chest, Shen took a step back. "What is this?"

One of the ninja frowned and stepped forward. "Please, Shen, none of us want to harm you or your daughter, but we are under strict orders to make sure you are given to Master Shredder."

"Master Shredder?" Shen whispered in utter confusion then her eyes widened in realization. "You mean Saki? No. T-that can not be true, Saki would never..." Her voice faded into uncertainty when she remembered Saki coming to the dojo, the pure rage and hatred in his eyes, was definitely not the eyes that once belonged to the friend she grew up with and loved.

"How could you all do this...?" She whispered, staring at the clan she once thought of as family sadly. "After all the Foot has done to us all in the past, how could you betray Yoshi and Master Yuuta for them?!"

"We are sorry Shen but please, do not make this harder than it has to be." Shen lowered her head. "I am sorry too," She murmured before slowly grabbing something out of her pocket and throwing blinding powder at them. The ninjas coughed and fell on their knees as Shen took off running back to the dojo, holding on to Miwa tight.

Other ninjas gave chase and Shen just ran as fast as she could. She refused to allow her and her daughter to be taken prisoner, she refused to allow Saki to destroy everything her husband loved but most of all, she was determined to not allow him to take away the only family she has left. Shen already lost her parents by the Foot, she will not let Saki take her husband and daughter too.

However, the ninjas were coming in close and even though Shen had a few experiences in battle, she could not take down all of them on her own, especially with her daughter in her arms. Fortunately, just when one of the ninjas, were about to throw their chains to capture Shen, a bright light showed up out of nowhere and Shen halted to turn, only to gawk when she saw Kitsune with her daughter strapped to her chest. "Kitsune?!"

"Run Shen, I will hold them off!" Her best friend ordered and Shen nodded before taking off again, knowing she did not have much time. Once she was gone, Kitsune smiled down at her daughter who grinned back at her. "Alright, my darling, let mummy show you how powerful she really is." With that, Kitsune made a snap of her fingers and as fast as the ninjas could blink, a pack of wolves showed up out of nowhere, growling furiously and attacked.

...

Shen panted once she made it to the dojo, and she looked up in horror when she saw the whole thing was completely on fire. She glanced around until she saw the old bench that she and Yoshi used to sit on, before running over and putting Miwa underneath so that she is safely away from the fire. She began to cry but Shen gently grabbed her face and smiled soothingly. "Shh, stay silent, my love. Mama will be back soon with Papa."
