Alice's pov
I stopped by a coffee shop to pick up a coffee for me, before I go to my job interview. When all of a sudden, I bumped into a woman, which led us both to fall in our butts, and her papers to fly out of her hands.

[Senator Risa] next time watch where you're going! I'm having a awful day right now! And you made it WORSE!

[Alice] I'm sorry Madam Senator, I didn't mean to, if you wouldn't mind let me help you.

I gave her my hand so that she can stand up, but she just pushed my hand away and stand up herself. So I just picked her papers up and gave them to her.

[Senator Risa] I don't need a hand, and I don't need your apology either!

I just smiled at her, despite the fact that she's mad at me. But she just moved her eyes in a circle and walked away. When it was my turn to order, I immediately ordered an iced coffee and a slice of strawberry cake.

*Skip forward*

I'm so anxious just now in view of the fact that Senator Risa's secretary just told me that Sen. Risa is frightening when she's stressed out and when she's furious, also she told me that everyone is terrified of her, because of how she looks at everyone. I know what she said is true, because of how Sen. Risa acted in front of me earlier. While I was in the middle of my thoughts, Senator Risa's secretary approached.

[Secretary] Hi, I forgot to introduce myself earlier. I'm Aliya, I'm 24 years old, nice to meet you!

[Alice] it's a pleasure to meet you also, I'm Alice Guo, I'm 38 years old.

[Aliya] Sen. Risa wants to meet you now, and she wants to know you're identity. Goodluck to your job interview!

[Alice] thanks, I hope I get picked as her personal assistant, like it's my dream.

I smiled at Aliya before I proceeded to Sen. Risa's office. I knocked on Sen. Risa's door before I come in.

[Senator Risa] come in!

She shouted...

I approached her table.

[Senator Risa] oh it's you, the one who I bumped into earlier.

[Alice] I'm really sorry Madam Senator, I didn't mean to

[Senator Risa] ok, apology accepted, but next time watch where you are going.

She just gave me a death stare, and we started the interview.

[Senator Risa] how am I supposed to know your identity if you will not give me your resume, young lady?

[Alice] sorry again Madam Senator.

[Senator Risa] you always say sorry.

I just smiled at her because I know that she's having a tough day right now, so I'm trying to understand her.

[Senator Risa] ok, according to your resume, you don't have an experience huh? But you have the skills that I need for my personal assistant

[Alice] yes madam Senator

[Senator Risa] hmm you're hired, you will start tomorrow asap. But I have some rules that you need to follow, if you didn't follow my rules you're fired.

[Alice] what is it Madam Senator?

[Senator Risa] first, I don't want you to be lazy. Second, always bring me coffee every morning I come into my office. third, you can only wear clothes that are colored, black, red, cream, white, maroon, brown, and purple. Fourth, clean my table, I want it to be shiny as a diamond.

[Alice] sure Madam Senator, but what time will I come here po?

[Senator Risa] 6am in the morning.

[Alice] okay Madam Senator, copied!

I made an excuse for her to leave her office, I really didn't expect to pass as her personal assistant. But I'm very happy because she hired me, I'll make sure that I won't let her down. When I got out of Madam Senator's office, I met Aliyah, her secretary.

[Aliyah] how was your job interview?

[Alice] hays...

[Aliyah] why? What happened? You didn't pass? It'll be fine, you'll have another chance to apply as a personal assistant. Besides Senator Loren is looking for a personal assistant

[Alice] I passed!!!

[Aliyah] I told you that you would pass! But, then why are you sad?

[Alice] well she told me that I have to be here at exactly 6:00 am sharp, but I'm still sleeping at that time

[Aliyah] I'm sure you'll wake up, just put an alarm ok? *She chuckled*

[Alice] hmm okayy, btw I gotta go, I have something to do later, seeya!

[Aliyah] I'll see you too tomorrow

We bid are goodbyes then I left.

*Skip Forward*

I just got home, and I rested here in the living room. It's really tiring, but I'm happy because I got hired. A few minutes passed, so I thought about taking a shower again because I was getting hot, Because of the weather today, it's very hot and sunny. So I went to my room to prepare the clothes to wear after I shower, When I got the clothes I was going to wear later, I took my bath robe, and went to the bathroom to take a shower. 20 minutes later, I finished taking a shower and got dressed, so I decided to lie down on my bed and turn on the air conditioner. I'm so lonely, I don't even have anyone to be with here at home. I wish I had someone with me, it's so boring being alone. While I'm scrolling on Facebook, someone texted me.

I'm really excited because Madam Senator wants to meet with me. What if gusto nya ako i date? What if may gusto rin sya saken? Halah nag o overthink nanaman ako.
So I quickly got up from my bed to change my clothes. After I got dressed, I went to my car and drove to the Senate of the Philippines building.
