Chapter 11

*THE OTHER POV*

Meanwhile, at Olympus, the most powerful creature on Earth was upset about two things. Firstly, the fact that his bolt, which made him who he was, was missing for days now, and the fact that the two most powerful demigods between all the gods' children were together away from the camp. Zeus saw that as a threat, even though he didn't admit it because he knew two powerful children like that together meant no good. So, after the talk that Apollo had with his granddaughter failed, he decided to let their parents finish the job. Since he knew that there was nothing Hyacinth and Luke hated more than their godly parent, it made him think that they would help him take them apart

"So I have gathered you both here to discuss a little problem that we are facing, and which I am pissed about" Zeus said before Hermes and Artemis gave each other a confused look while wondering what they had to do with it 

" And why did you call us dear father?" Hermes asked, looking at him confused while crossing his arms and Artemis looked at her father while having the exact same question in her mind

"Because it concerns your children" He said, looking at them both before the two gods became more confused than ever

" How am I supposed to help solve the problem after you have forbidden me to look at my daughter since the day I saved her?" Artemis asked, looking so done with her father before he stood up, trying to find a way to explain his concern in a way that his children wouldn't get pissed at him

" If you think that they are up to something, then I can assure you that they can't do anything bad in the camp" Hermes said and Zeus turned to them again while nodding negatively because that is when he realised that they had no idea what was going on

" Well that is the problem they are not in the camp" He said and both their eyes widened, " What do you mean they are not in the camp?" Artemis asked worried and Zeus nodded before with a wave of his hand the wind made a huge picture appear in front of them. In the picture, there was a dead chimera lying on the ground, the one that Hyacinth had killed a few days ago

" Chiron informed me that they are missing after a chimera was found dead not far away from the camp. He also told me that they were more secretive than ever before Apollo confirmed to me that your children are dating, so the conclusion is that they are both up to something" After he finished his sentence the sound of a door opening was heard and Apollo entered the room 

" Ah here you are, tell them please what you saw in your prophecy a few days ago" He said after Apollo joined them, and he looked at the floor not wanting to tell it in front of his sister as he knew that the future would break her. Apollo also had hidden some things that he saw from Zeus because he wanted Percy to succeed and to be able to prove himself not only innocent but also capable of doing anything. 

" I don't think it is appropriate to say it in front of Artemis,father" Apollo said before his sister looked at him confused "Just say it, and maybe she will try to keep that daughter of hers under control" Zeus said and Artemis got really pissed at him as the words left his mouth

" How on earth do you want me to keep her under control when you do not allow me to even speak to her?" She asked standing up upset with her father's words, but Zeus didn't say a thing because he kind of knew that she was right and that sometimes he didn't handle things too well which led him to make the wrong decisions, but as the most powerful being among them, he would never admit it 

"I think you are just afraid father" Hermes said standing up and Zeus turned to him with widened eyes " You are afraid because you see Hyacinth and Luke as a threat because of how powerful they are together" He said and Zeus got angry because this was the first ever time that one of his children talked back at him

"But I think you should be more afraid when one of them dies because you don't know what they would do then, and I am pretty sure that dead chimera is an amazing example of what they are capable of" He said, and Zeus looked angry before Apollo got in the middle to prevent from anything happening 

" Hermes is right, you are safe for now but also leave my daughter alone, she has been through enough already" Artemis said before she finally left the room having heard enough

After the conversation, Hermes took Apollo aside to discuss what he had seen in his prophecy, but Apollo denied telling him anything. Because telling someone about the future, there is a chance that it will change and be much worse

" You don't have to tell me anything relatable to what you saw, but at least tell me if the result of that prophecy will hurt Luke in any way possible"Apollo looked at the floor before he nodded and Hermes realised that moment what his brother had seen even though he didn't tell him with his own words. But even though they were more powerful than any other person in the entire universe, a fate was a fate and no one could change it, not even them

"So according to my calculations and my instinct if the kids followed the way that we think they did then they would be somewhere around here" I said lowering the map and looking around the trees. It has been more than a day since we left the camp and to be fair I kind of had no idea where in the world we were, but we followed the path they supposedly did so we could be near them

"From that look on your face I know that we are lost" Luke said with a laugh leaving his mouth and a proud smirk appearing on his face. Because he wanted to turn right on a path a few meters away when I told him the map was telling me to turn left and because he knew there was no way he would win an argument with me, he followed my lead, and now we were kind of lost

"Just admit that I was right little Fleur" He said, and I nodded negatively while fixing my hat with a frustrated look on my face, but then I noticed a smoke coming from the trees behind him. He turned to look the way that I was looking before I started following the smoke 

"I don't think that this is-nevermind" He tried to protest before finally deciding to follow me. I followed the smoke in hopes we were going to find the kids, but as we were getting closer I felt a really bad feeling. We ended up on a road and decided to follow it just to see where it would lead us until we saw a sign from afar which said "Aunty Em's garden gnome". The moment I saw the petrified statues in the garden, I knew that we needed to get out of here

"Luke we need to go" I said looking at the statues in front of me before he gave me a confused look, but I knew exactly who lived there and why I had a bad feeling about it 

"This is where Medusa lives" I said to him, but before we were able to do anything else a familiar at least to me voice was heard from behind us "You are clever like your mother Hyacinth Lockwood" The moment she talked my hand went automatically to my eyes because I was scared she was going to appear from somewhere, and I was hoping that Luke had done the same 

"Welcome son of Hermes and daughter of Artemis, it is a pleasure to have you here" She said, and it was the last thing I heard before everything for me went blank.

"May god have mercy on my enemies, 'cause I won't"
