Next Morning
At the Ali Mansion

Sahil's pov

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. It was Amer. What could this idiot want so early in the morning?

"Hello," I groaned.

"Still in bed, huh?"

"What do you want?"

"Get to the office early today. We have a lot to do for Paris Fashion Week, and the Malik meeting from yesterday? They're coming back today. So, hurry up!"

Malik. Miss Malik. I’ll see you soon, sweetheart.

"Hey! Sahil!" Amer called again, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, yeah, I’ll be there by 9:00," I said and hung up.

I got ready for the office, slipping into my formal wear, and headed downstairs for breakfast.

"Morning, Mumma," I greeted as I entered the dining room.

"Good morning. Off to the office early today?" she asked.

"Yes, Mumma. There’s work to do," I replied, taking my seat.

"Morning," came a cold, dark voice from behind. It was Baba.

"Morning, Baba," I greeted him with respect.

"Hm," he hummed, acknowledging me.

"Paris Fashion Week preparations have begun, haven’t they?" he asked.

"Yes, Baba," I replied. He rarely came to the office these days, but he always stayed updated about the company’s affairs.

As we discussed work, I heard a cheerful voice. "Good morning, guys!" It was Mira, the princess of our house. I couldn’t help but smile at her.

"Morning, Princess," I said warmly.

"Bhai, will you drop me off at the university today?" she asked, her face lighting up.

"Of course, Princess," I replied, placing a kiss on her forehead.

"Thank you, Bhai!" she beamed.

We finished breakfast, and the drive to her university was unusually quiet.

"Mira," I called, breaking the silence.

"Yes, Bhai?"

"We’ve arrived," I said as I parked.

"Oh, okay. Bye, Bhai," she said, hesitating to leave.

"Mira, do you want to say something, Princess?"

"Umm, yeah... Bhai, can I go shopping with my friends today?"

Ah, so that’s why she seemed nervous.

"Okay, but you’ll go with security," I said firmly.

"Ahhh, thank you, Bhai! You’re the best. I love you!" she squealed, giving me a quick side hug before hopping out.

"Go now, you’re getting late," I said, shaking my head fondly.

"Bye, Bhai!" she waved and disappeared into the crowd. I smiled and drove to the office.

(At the Aayan Mansion)

Hira's pov

I woke up to the sun rays spilling onto my face. I glanced at the clock—it was 8:00 AM. I’m so late!

Jumping out of bed, I rushed to get ready. Within minutes, I was downstairs, frantically heading out the door when Aayan stopped me.

"Oh, hello, madam. Where are you rushing off to?"
