"Xay look pan dah funny video yah," I turn to him on the bed to show him the video on my phone.
His eyes went on the phone screen and he began to watch the video.
He watched the video without laugh which made me upset. "Yea it funny," he said dryly before turning back to his phone.
"Yuh cyah act like the funny and laugh, sometime mi nuh like yuh dutty style ino," I said before hissed my teeth.
"Ahh mek mi si it back."
"No it already gone."
"Abby mek mi si it back nuh, yuh waah mi fi laugh and den now yuh nuh waah show mi ih video," he turned to me and said.
"Xay it's ok you can go back to what you were doing," I said clearly upset and annoyed.
From mawing him a gwaan so ino but mi naah seh nothing to him.
Scrolling through Instagram and sending reels to my friends then I suddenly became hungry. I got up to go to the kitchen to get something to eat and he stopped me.
"A wey yaah go?"
Wey him a question mi fah mi well nuh answa him ino.
"Mi ago ina ih kitchen," I answered nevertheless. "Ohh bring sumo fi mi," he said and he went back on his phone.
I turned without answering him, shut my door and went downstairs and into the kitchen. I saw sister sitting on one of our chairs in the kitchen island while on her phone.
"Yuh figure out where you want to go for your birthday?" I asked her while look through the pantry.
"Yea mi a plan fi do a beach picnic and theme is pink," she said before looking up from her phone.
"Ohhh yuh know who yaah invite yet?"
"Yea my friends and some others but you can bring some your friends too."
"Ok then mi ago ask Xay if him wah go, yaah bring such bwoy?" I asked her while smiling.
"A who a such bwoy?" she asked pretending not know who I'm talking about.
"Kaylinana yuh know a who mia talk so doh try and hide it," I said before walking out of the kitchen with the snack and up to my room. As soon as I open my room door he looked up from his phone.
