Help...can someone hear me?

I'm awake but I am stuck. I couldn't move, not even a limb. Is this how dying feels like?

'It's all in the head.' I continuously chanted.

But it wasn't. I'm slowly dying and the just the mere thought of actually dying alone terrifies me beyond belief. I just want to go home.

"You're not dead...just denial." Haidam snorted.

I immediately open my eyes only to be met with shelves that cater ancients' scrolls and coppery books.

"Let me out of here." I murmured helplessly.

He looks at me with calculating eyes. "I told you, you can go back to your world only if you appease his anger."

"Nonsense!"

"That's why I hate being a human." He uttered plainly.

"You're not even a human to begin with." I uttered mockingly.

"That's why I am thankful that I am not indeed human." He further pointed. "Because human, the more exposed they are expose to opposing viewpoints, the more they seem to get upset that those other viewpoints exist. Truth is, things fall apart...and you're not special."

Things fall apart.

Of course they do! Would I be stuck in this goddamn illusion if they weren't? Everything falls apart that I am persecuted in a moment's notice.

You're not special.

For the long run, people around me say otherwise. I, on the other hand believe that even if you're somewhat exceptional at one thing, chances are you're average or below average at most other things.

"Who even argues that I'm special?" I murmured dejectedly.

Once, I believed once I was special.

"Nonsense!" Someone interrupted us that almost made me jumped out of my sit. "Relax princess, to die out of spook sounds dramatic."

I saw how Haidam's eyes roll out of sarcasm. Are they even friends? I mean she might be an enemy pretending to be someone he knows. It could happen right? Wala pa man ay pakiramdam ko ay mababaliw na ako. Gusto ko ng umuwi.

"But I am genuinely scared." I answered truthfully throwing all the inhabitation.

Truth is, I am always scared.

She looks at me intently and smiles a little. "Well...you should be."
