Chapter THIRTY SIX: "angel" 第36章「天使」
'Music is my escape from reality'
—Welcome to "shifts シフト"—
"WHAT MUSIC DO you think the rest of the school would enjoy?" Mezo asked, (Y/n) letting out a yawn beside him. "Something about heroes." (Y/n) gave out an unhelpful answer. "We should do whatever's trendy. Right Jiro?"
"Hey...did you hear? Class 1-A from the hero course is doing a concert, and it's for us." Some other students spoke in a sing song voice, rather loudly, "Talk about egotistical. Do they think we care? Well, yeah. We all know they're clueless." The two glared at the group of up-coming heroes. (Y/n) watched Katsuki growl, she let out a laugh as she jumped onto Katsuki, her arm around his shoulder as she sent a thumbs up at the two students.
"Awe man! We were hoping to surprise you all! It's too bad some mother fuckers like you found out! Go to hell, you ugly son of a bitches!" She flipped the two off, leading Katsuki away, a slight skip in her step.

"The school festival is one month away! We don't have much time. We should start making decisions right now." Tenya spoke in between Momo and Mezo. "First, we need to pick out a song, right?" Mina asked, leaning forward in curiosity. "I don't know too much about popular music."
(Y/n) sighed, leaning against the wall beside Yuga and Kyouka. "With those things in mind." Kyouka spoke up after a few comments and necessities were thrown out. "I think I know one that might work. It's a hardcore song. It'll be like a race-meets-rock show. As for dance music, EDM would probably be the most popular. But you guys want to play instruments, right?"
(Y/n)'s brain almost fried at all the music talk. "Anyone play bass or drums or anything?" Kyouka looked around, no one raised their hands. "I play bass, I would say I'm pretty good at it too." (Y/n) glanced away, "okay! That's better! I'd say the drums are the backbone of any band. I'd take in the responsibility myself—" (Y/n) cut her off with a devilish grin.
"You know...Katsu said something about playi—" She was cut off by a pale hand smacked into the back of her head. "Well that's perfect!" "Woah really?" "Awesome! Take a seat and show us what you've got!"
Random voices cut off as a dumbfounded Katsuki stared blankly at the group. In the end he said no. But! (Y/n), —oh the angel in everybody's eyes as of now— conned him into it.
