3rd person POV
Hongjoong was feeling guilty and regretful at what he had done. He felt like yesterday was the unluckiest moment or day that had ever happened to him. He was currently in his bed thinking about what he do.
Then the door opened and he saw Yunho walk in.
'Your father called you". Yunho said.
Hongjoong messes his hair in frustration and walks out of his room irritatedly. Everything was his father's fault. If it wasn't for him he wouldn't be having a problem like this.
But, If it wasn't for his father... He wouldn't have met Shin-Hye.
A beautiful, nice girl.
Hongjoong sighed depressingly before opening the office door of his father's and walking in.
"Father you called?"
"Take a seat son."
Hongjoong nodded and took a sit on the couch facing his father.
"Tell me what happened between you and Shin-Hye". His Dad said.
"Huh? Why?" Hongjoong said.
"She came to me and said she wanted to go to her house. I already send her though. Care to explain what you did?" His father asks and Hongjoong sighs and ends up explaining to his father what happened yesterday.

Flashback
As Hongjoong dragged Shin-Hye to his room Shin-Hye was trashing around attempting to let her hand go from Hongjoong's grip.
"Let Me Go! Let Me Go Kim Hongjoong!" Shin-Hye shouted.
But Hongjoong never complies and sets Shin-Hye on the edge of the bed. He made her sit down while he looked at her with soft and sad-looking eyes.
His eyes were on the floor
"Am I that scary?" Hongjoong asked.
Shin-Hye was shocked but looked down as well.
"No.."
Shin-Hye said and tears started to form in her eyes. Hongjoong was hurt seeing such a princess hurt, a princess crying and shedding tears.
He slowly placed his hand on her cheek and was shocked at how soft and smooth it was. He looks at Shin-Hye deep in the eyes while he wipes those tears.
Hongjoong slowly, unconsciously leans forward until the distance between them is very little. Hongjoong fell for Shin-Hye's eyes and Vice versa.
So without further a do, Hongjoong leans in for a kiss but he doesn't get a response and he knows the reason.
It doesn't mean Shin-Hye doesn't love him, but it is the fact that Shin-Hye doesn't know how to respond and doesn't know what to do. She is shocked too.
So Hongjoong manage to taste the soft lips of Shin-Hye. But after that, he broke it and looked at Shin-Hye with a smile.
"I love you Shin-Hye, You were there when I was hurting, You were there to make me realize that not all negative was happened in my life. You bring the best out of me and it's enough for me to fall for you". Hongjoong said sincerely.
"I love you Park Shin-Hye". Hongjoong said as he looked Shin-Hye deep in the eyes.
"No, No! You don't love me! You don't love the real me nobody does!" Shin-Hye said and thrashed around, she stood up and attempted to walk outside of the room but Hongjoong grabbed her hand and stopped her.
"No your wrong! Because I love you for who you are". Hongjoong said.
"You don't even know the real me!" Shin-Hye shouted.
"Then who is the real you!?"
"You... You wouldn't want to know. You will hate Me!"
Shin-Hye attempted to get out of Hongjoong's hand and kept crying as she ran away from his sight.
Hongjoong was left there confused as hell.
end.
-"I don't understand father. What did she mean by that?" Hongjoong said and looked down frustrated.
His father sighs.
"You see Hongjoong, Not all that is been seen is the truth. Sometimes the thing that we need to see is hidden". Mr.Kim said.
"I don't understand what you mean Father". Hongjoong said confusedly.
"It's like a book. They say don't judge a book by its cover, do you understand that phrase?" His father asks.
"I do, It's what is on the inside that is important not the outside". Hongjoong explained.
"It is. But like a book, unexpected events happen inside. You never even experience that there will be unexpected possibilities, unexpected changes. Like you when your mother died." His father explains and Hongjoong looks down.
when his mother died everything changed.
The usually, cheerful friendly lovable Hongjoong was replaced by a cold-hearted, mean perfectionist person. Hongjoong wouldn't recognize himself anymore if not for Sooha and Shin-Hye to help him rise. No not only the two of them but also his friends and family.
"Shin-Hye is a lonely girl who doesn't have freedom. That's why I want you to marry her for you to save her in a prison that she was living with. She was trapped and until now, no one knew the real her. No one knew that she existed. That's why she said those words. " Mr. Kim said
Hongjoong was still confused but he sighed.
"I understand". Hongjoong said that he didn't want to talk about it with his father anymore.
"Good, Now try looking for the true her." His father said.
"I will Father". Hongjoong said.
"Ok, Now you dismiss." His father said.
Hongjoong stands up, bows as he exits, and closes the door behind him.
-
He sighs and looks up at the ceiling.
"You... You wouldn't want to know. You will hate Me!"
He thought of what Shin-Hye just said.
"Idiot Shin-Hye, I will still love you no matter what.
Please come back...
