Hia stop! Please tell me what is going on. Macau pulled at Vegas trying to yank him off the guard he was beating to a pulp. Pete's three personal guards had failed to answer the simple question of where Pete was when Vegas asked. One lay slumped already beaten to unconsciousness while another was holding his leg focusing only on the bullet Vegas shot into it. The third was Pete's head guard and his refusal to answer was getting him the brunt of Vegas's rage.
"We don't know Khun Vegas he left without us Sir." The guard with the bullet wound yelled loudly.
"You are his personal guards tell me where he is NOW!" Vegas shouted back turning his attention to the guard with the ruined leg.
"He left at 4am when we returned from Khun Porche's party for Khun Pete. You were not home yet he said he was going to go find you, but he refused to let us go with him. That is all we know." The man was covered in sweat as blood ran down his shattered knee.
"That is all you know? What kind of fucking guards are you. When my husband Pete was a guard he always knew everything going on in the main family even when he played stupid and pretended not to." Vegas raised his gun again to shoot the man once more.
"Please Khun Vegas no. Wait he got a text before he left I think it was a photo I'm not sure it seemed to really upset him. After that he refused to let us go with him."
"Hia please tell me where P'Pete is. Hia is Pete okay? Macau asked again as he pleaded with his brother to leave the poor guards alone.
"Khun Vegas." A stern deep voice called out. Nop entered the hall slowly. The man was old enough to know the panicked look on Vegas's face. Nop had seen it on his own father's face all the times he wandered in early in the mornings smelling of liquor and the cheap perfume of women other than his mother. The middle-aged man didn't need to know where Vegas had been or with whom. There was only two reasons Pete would leave Vegas either Pete would leave Vegas in a coffin or he would leave him in a rage, the kind of rage only infidelity could bring to the younger man's unwavering heart. Nop already knew Pete wasn't dead. Nop had always believed Pete was too good for Vegas, but he hadn't guessed Vegas would be such a fool to ruin the love he shared with Pete in such a disgraceful way.
"What do you fucking want Nop?" Vegas growled.
"Khun Pete's car has been spotted at the main families mansion." Nop answered calmly. " Shall I wake your driver Sir?"
"No I will go alone."
"Vegas tell me what is going on?" Macau shouted at his stunned elder brother.
"Just a misunderstanding little brother you go rest for the wedding while I go pick up Pete." Vegas replied before rushing towards the door. Vegas jumped onto the sapphire blue motorcycle Pete had gifted him for his birthday and headed to retrieve his beloved. A task he was determined he would succeed at even if he had to shoot a few people to do it.
"Khun Macau what should we do with Khun Pete's gaurds?" Nop asked the young man as he looked at the three bleeding men on the floor.
Macua knew Vegas was lying. No misunderstanding could get such a violent reaction out of his ever so in control and calculating brother. "Nop take them to the hospital Vegas really hurt them. They are safer there I don't think Hai's attitude will improve until Pete returns home."
Macau returned to his room just in time to hear a buzzing sound coming from between his mattress and the frame of his bed. He hurriedly pulled the phone from where he had hidden it when his P'Pete had given it to him not long after Vegas had woken two years ago.
FavoriteBrother: I need to talk to you.
Little Brother: P' what is going on Vegas shot a guard and beat two others.
