Alone in room (CHP 26)

Still Anne's pov--
I felt chill ...flowed around my body as I saw him standing at the entrance of the door which was closed..I can see his face very clearly through that door window..he was smiling.its eyes shown that he was still planning to kill me ...
I moved to other side of my bed and wrapped..the blanket till my head..I was scared ..

"Anne ..?"

Mom ? I felt relief..as she called my name..I quickly turned to the same side again ..and saw no one..
"Strange ...?"..i claimed.. suddenly the noise crack of door opening of bathroom.it was my mom ...

"Did you called my name..?"

"No , why?"

"Umm..no just thought soo.."
And then I went to sleep...

Present..(after finishing the flashback by her mom)

"Oh.." jamie..
Suddenly there was a knock on door..
It was cops..

"Excuse me..can I come..?"..lady cop..

"Come in.. please "her mom..

"I found some suspect..so I thought I should inform you.."

"Suspect..?" ..jamie.

"Who is this.?"
She asked.

"Umm..I m jamie..andi am Annes friend..."
I told her as she keep on examining me with her narrow look which she made...I know she is going to ask me something now..and what the suspect..?The one from the tv which divya sis were talking about..?

"Well , for now she is sleeping after she wake up ..I guess I will take her to police station..so when she get discharged.. please inform ..me "

"No problem we will do .." her parents..

As she was heading towards the door she paused..and looked behind at me .where I was standing just fron to anne..

"And yay you..kid..Jamie? I guess I am going to ask some questions..as I know I already found suspect but still I need some your little time..so may I have allowed..?"
She was hesitating as she was asking me..am I scary ?

"Oh ok sure..I have time..so I guess I have to now allowed you.."
I smiled a bit and followed her lead where she was going...

Jamie's pov---

I went were she was going..it was hardly 20 to 25 mins as we reached to her car..
"Umm sorry but I can't ..just go in your car like thta.."

"What do you mean..you are allowed
Man just chill and get in.."

I got nervous..why she want me to go inside the car..?

"Well can we just talk here..?like I don't mind but I don't think it's good to just sit beside with unknown.."

"Well child you know..I m a cop .and same as your mother's age..so you can believe me..I don't harass children lol"

Wait What..did she just just talked about my mom..?

"You know my mom..? Are you both in same department..???" I got shocked but excited..

"Yo chill..yes you right and I know your mom..you know we are friends..so now you believe..?"
I believe..her but still should I test her more..?

"Well I still cant .."

She then removed her identity card to prove herself that she was not a bad women..
