To My Friend

There's something I need to say.

I hope you'll read on to see.

I'm scared of sharing my feelings,

But this is what you mean to me.

I never told you this,

I always wondered if you knew.

Do you remember my poem "Love"?

Well, it was written for you.

I know I'm not the best friend,

But being yours has been the best.

I once was filled with sorrow,

But you allowed my heart to rest.

There were times when I felt pain,

I prayed my soul to keep.

But until that day I met you,

There were times when I cried myself to sleep.

You picked my favorite song.

You sang it from the start.

It wasn't just the lyrics,

You're singing touched my heart.

Singing and tongue twisters were fun,

But so was RPing too.

There were sad days on Drago,

But those were days without you.

You've always been nice to me.

I hope it'll always be that way.

Though we are far apart,

You're friend I'll always stay.

We both love art and music,

Help each other when times are rough.

Love our doggies so much,

And hide under blanky from spooky stuff.

I'm always happy to help you,

I'd love to help again.

I don't know how else to say it,

But thanks for being my friend.

Thanks for listening to my stories.

Thanks for putting up with my fuss.

Thank you for being what I never had.

Someone that I can trust.
