I awakened feeling better than I was before. I looked around the empty room, and a nurse walked inside, greeting me with a smile. She looked oddly just like my mom. Only her eyes were a bit more slanted, and her hair was longer. She looked how my mom would have if she were still alive, I couldn't help but stare at the lady until she spoke, grabbing my attention.

"Are you doing ok? You look exhausted. How about we take a walk to get your mind off of whatever you're thinking about."I nodded and grabbed her hand.

"The doctor told me I was in heat, I don't understand. Isn't a heat for animals?" She looked as if she were holding back from laughing at me, and it made me curious about what it would sound like. Would she sound like mom? Did she have dimples in the same spot as Mom did?

"Well , heat is a state of sexual excitement when you are at the age of when you are ready to breed. Has no one ever taught you this?"

"No, I'm not from around here. I didn't think stuff like this existed. Is there a way I can get rid of it?"

"You can't get rid of a heat. You have to have an alpha to take care of you during times like this,"

"An alpha?"

"Yes, a partner you trust, only an alpha can satisfy your sexual need."I took this information in, but I still couldn't believe what was happening to my body. Has this ever happened to Mom? If so, why didn't she tell me?"

"It is quite odd, though, because your scent is faint right now, but the doctor said that your pheromones were powerful when you were in heat. Your pheromone is your scent to attract an alpha. It is how you would seduce them. But just be sure to be careful because some alphas take advantage of omegas to satisfy their own needs and hurt them, so sometimes it isn't safe to tell people around you that you're an omega. You should be ok because our alpha holds a big punishment for other alphas like that. She will be here soon to ask you some questions if that is ok?" I looked at her skeptical, and she reassured me that I would be ok in the hands of her alpha.

"Will you be there too?", her eyes widened a bit, then softened.

"If you want me there, I will be there."I nodded, and she showed me around the hospital grounds. There was a garden and a lake and a small park for exercise. A craft making and wheel throwing class. Her phone rang, and she picked up, her facial expressions changing; she enjoyed her job, and it showed.

"Yes, sir, we will be there."She hung up and turned to me.

"That was the doctor. Our alpha is here to see you now." we walked back to my room, and there sat a figure in all black at the table in the room. I sat across it, seeing a woman with the deepest brown eyes. Her eyes could pass for black. They flashed gold, taking me aback. Maybe she needed help more than me. Her face looked serious and kind of scary. Her eyes scanned me over, and I could feel a shiver go up my spine.

"Hello, my name is Victoria Clearwater, and I'm here to speak with you about something that could be hard to talk about. Earlier, you said that a doctor here was going to hurt you. Has he ever hurt you before?"She pulled out a photo of the man, and I glanced at it. Indeed, he looked like Noah, but his aura was different. It seemed kind even. Noah was kind in the beginning and look where we are now, but even you could still feel Noah's menacing aura through photos. Oh, how could I accuse such a man of being like Noah just because they look alike, I really have to apologize to him.

"Miss Anderson, I know this is hard, but it is important that you tell me so he can receive a proper punishment."Victoria said. I could hear the anger lingering in her voice.

"It wasn't him, just someone who looked like him." I confessed.

"Who was it?"

"He isn't here, so it doesn't matter."
