"Well to tell you the truth," she said. "I don't seem to recall anything from the days back then if not at all. In honesty I find it hard to even conjure up a thought of the last time something was worth remembering, a whisper to a former lover, a child's laughter brightening a darkly household. Or even a gift of gratitude that says, 'Oh Faye the Raven, I congratulate you on your success on making the children happy. We hope you accept this token of gratitude and help others smile the way you do.' So my purpose is fairly blunt, that much I do know. As for my creator, well to be honest I can't really seem to remember what she looks like, And since you know now, every time I try really hard, I just-"

Faye felt a sharp pain come from her head, she fell into the fetal position. A small scream came as she clenched her skull, her wings twitched in a loss of focus.

"Faye are you okay?" Asked Caelob nervously.

Faye looked up with a nod, "I get a little headache once in a while, I get pictures in my brain, I can never tell what they're doing, what they mean or what they're trying to say."

Faye got up and stumbled to the bridge where they first met, Caelob followed close behind.

"Does Godrick know about this?"

"We all do Caelob Reyes," Faye muttered, still scratching at her head.

"Well maybe they can help, the Wiccan I mean."

"Ugh, no witches genius, remember?"

"Well what do you suggest we do then? we'll just find your old flock or another one and maybe it'll come back-"

"Caelob," interrupted Faye. "Everyone in my old flock is gone, only me and my little Godrick are the only ones left. My whole battalion of corvidae, gone. I can't go back to my creator whoever they are, it is said those who bear these conditions are put to pasture. Which means only one thing in our part. She despises me, and I don't even know why."

"You don't know that."

"I'm all alone Caelob, I don't have any 'friends'  as you put it or flock to call my own. I'm the only one of my kin. Only me, and Godrick..."

"I mean there's me Faye, I can be part of your flock if that's okay. I know a mortal isn't much but I'll do my best to cheer you up and all th-"

"And what exactly is a mortal like you gonna do about then? You don't have powers, from the looks of it you don't look like you can do pretty much anything."

"Hey wait a second-"

"You don't even fly."

"Well yeah but-"

"I don't supposed you have a hidden power to bring my flock back now do you? Good for nothing."

"Faye that's not what I mean-"

"Well what do you suggest then, good for nothing? Since you know what to do about it."

"Hay I'm just trying to help, you don't have to sound rude alright?"

"Good for nothing! Good for nothing! Good for nothing!"

"Faye stop it!"

"So what do we do about it then huh? Everything was fine until you had to wake me up!"

"Well I'm sorry okay!? I'm sorry. Just please let me help, it's the least I can do, now that you're stuck with someone as useless as me."

"I don't need your help Caelob Reyes."

"Well I don't care, cause I'm gonna help you anyways. I don't care if you hate me, I don't care if, if you throw me in hell, if you cast me with a lifetime of bad luck, or nail me to a cross for the crows to feast on my body or whatever torture things you guys do to like, punish those that do bad unto others like, bird people and what not-"

"Caelob please just stop talking...okay?"

"...okay."

There was a deep dark silence that grew between them. Caelob, holding back tears was not sure how to keep the motivation going. For all he knew she was hating on him super hard. The thought came back from before, Jannon's words were echoing again. Caelob just stared unsure what to do. In that moment he stared through the back of her head, and saw the loneliness that he succumbed to, only it was worse. He saw a future that held no hope for a better tomorrow. He saw himself, walking on the endless path of redemption for his friends. Would they care for him then? A thought had came to him as Faye sat with her head still hurting, tears falling from her eyes, still urging a smile to carry on. A hug from Caelob's arms wrapped around her wings, they fluttered open in surprise. They stood there for what seemed like minutes, still and quite unsure of what to do or say next.

"I'll be your friend Faye, I'm sorry if that makes you angry." replied Caelob finally reliving his tears. "I don't have wings to give you a bigger hug or help you fly, but I'll give it my all to make sure you're keeping float in the air, and that you're the happiest imaginary friend I know. I mean if you watch after the children, who's gonna watch after you, you know? I wish," he paused. "I wish to be your friend, until you are the happiest person I know...um...I don't know what happens next but whatever does  even if it makes me the fall guy kind of thing, I mean I'll gladly take it on the ch-"

A glowing light surrounding them.

"Faye what's happening, you're glowing!"

"What the- Dammit Caelob, what the hell did you do to me you moron?!?!"

The light then slowly faded, a tornado of feathers was left, disappearing into a little circle of feathers appeared on the ground below them.

"What happened?" Faye asked.

"I'm, not sure," Muttered Caelob.

"C-Caelob?" muttered Faye as her stomach growled.

"Uh, hey Faye you okay there?"

"I don't, feel so good."

Faye covered her mouth as the other hand clenched her stomach, she bent over falling to the ground.

"Faye what's happening are you okay?" Caelob panicked.

"Don't just stand there you idiot, do something before-"

Faye's cheeks became all puffy as her body made very angry noises. In one heave she began to hurl, the bird lady regurgitated a palm sized pellet, it laid on the ground in a pool of what looked like human saliva, she gagged and coughed trying to catch her breath as she laid next to the pool of saliva and the pellet that floated in it.

'Oh my god did she just-' thought Caelob.

"Uh Faye?" He asked. "Are you doing okay?"

Faye looked up at him, still trying to catch her breath.

"Well gee what does it look like? Does it look like I'm doing okay?" She remarked.

Caelob looked back at her, trying to solve the math in his head.

"No," he muttered.
