Jonah watched as Inspector Singh thanked Pav and the other Spider-people. Jonah couldn't help but think about there consequences that came with saving the inspector's life.
"Man-like! Miles! My guy!", Hobie yelled he patted Miles on the shoulders, everyone started cheering. Jonah and Pav walked over to Hobie, Gwen, and Miles.
It's supposed to be a happy moment, but Jonah couldn't help but be sad.
Miguel explained to her that a disrupted canon event could cause a lot of damage to the dimension or even destroy it.
'Maybe this wasn't a canon event, maybe i'm just paranoid.', Jonah thought as she shrugged the thought that had been weighting her down.
Jonah shook off any bad thoughts, and wrapped her arm around Hobie. She knew that he was a reserved guy, but he always managed to give in to her and show her affection, because they had that sibling bond since they first met.
Hobie put his right arm around her shoulder. Jonah smiled under her mask.
Suddenly, Earth was shaking and the bridge was glitching.
'Oh hell no!', Jonah thought in her head as she unwrapped her arm from around Hobie.
"Guys, what's that?", Pav asked the group of spider-people. As much as Jonah wanted to say something, she didn't. She pretended to be clueless so she didn't get in trouble by Miguel.
"It's a metaphor for capitalism.", Hobie said. Jonah just batted her eyelashes and gave him a blank stare.
"It's a lot worse than that.", Gwen said as the group watched the glitches slowly take over Mumbatten. Suddenly a spider-looking machine/vehicle came out through the sky.
