"Thank you" I hug my dad before he gets back in his truck. He and my brother came to put my new TV up.
I walk back to my bedroom where Heidi sits. I sigh and flop on the bed, turning to lie on my back.
"Soo, what now?"
"You want to go to the aquarium" I offer because it's something I wanted to do for a while.
"Yes, ouu! I had seen on TikTok that you could rent one out and spend the night there."
"Do you have rent out the aquarium money?!" I raise a brow at her because that just sounds expensive.
"Uhm, no. But you know who does!?"
"Who"
"Kyle!" She does jazz hands and I laugh at her.
"Where the hell he get 'rent out the aquarium money' from" I sit up because although I don't know a lot about Kyle I'm sure I would know if he was rich.
"I have no idea but he has money. I mind the business that pays me."
"I know that's right, let's do it! Oh, I'm excited now. I'm going to invite other people because I know you'll be boo'd up"
"I'm glad you know"
"Let me take a nap first though" I suggest and she nods absentmindedly while texting on the phone.
I texted four of my friends asking them if they wanted to come and three of them said yes. I send them the time and address before I get under my covers.
About twenty minutes later I getting shaken out of my sleep. I groan as I push whoever is touching me hand away.
"Kalei I'm bored" Heidi whines and I pink an eye open before turning my back to her.
"Go talk to Kyle" I suggest to her as I try to go back to sleep.
"No. I want to talk to my best friend"
"Let's take a nap" I hold my arms out to her so we can cuddle.
