Location: Unrecorded exoplanet within Coris System; designation pending.
Log: I set off on another jungle expedition today; this outing focused more closely to the planet's flora and fungi. The forest is full of these massive vines, all pumping some sort of strange, pink fluid from underground and carrying it throughout the area. I chose to follow one of these vines, and this proved to be fruitful in the discovery of new specimens.
Galactoflorus Pumpensis (Lactiblooms)
Flowering plants in a similar vein to carnivorous plants on Earth, such as the Venus fly trap. These flowers seem more sentient than the comparison however, being able to move around slightly on their own, possibly sensing the motions of living creatures. Mammalian creatures stand above the plants; causing them to bloom and attach themselves to the organism's nipples. It then used suction and reciprocating pumping motions to draw milk from that creature's mammaries into the vine they grow from. The vine itself seems to lead underground, carrying a pink aphrodisiac liquid through them similar to a blood vessel.
Floraclausa Impregnatus (Floraclausa)
Similar to the above and to carnivorous plants on Earth, this plant is much larger than the Lactiblooms; averaging to the size of a human or large animal. Also more sentient than normal plants, maybe more so than the above. Its insides are strangely animal-like; its petals snap shut and cling to its prey using villi and tentacles, as well as three tongue-like tendrils that extend from within its stem. It will use all of these muscles to stimulate and pleasure its prey, and then extend a vine into them to deposit large seeds within them. My hypothesis is that this is how the plant spreads more of its kind. The creatures will eventually birth these seeds as they roam around the jungle, thus likely planting more of the Floraclausa and restarting the life cycle.

"...nnngh...AGH!"
The last seed fell free from Ashley with a pop, and landed in the bucket on the floor, full of solid, wood-like orbs.
"Fuck..." Ashley rubbed her now-flattened belly. "Finally...that's the last of 'em. Fuck..."
Drops of pink slime ran down Ashley's trembling legs as she finally lifted her head from the countertop. She had spent the past half-hour giving birth to these things while struggling to write in her log. Nighttime had hit a long while ago; that flower creature -- the Floraclausa, as she'd named it -- had held her there for a couple of hours. She'd struggled to make it back to her ship in the dark of night, evading whatever bugs or predators had been stalking her the whole way.
She stumbled over to the couch and sighed. It was a miracle she'd made it back at all.
Ashley reached for her personal journal and put her pencil to her lips, recounting the day's events. That time had confirmed it: the pink slime was, in fact, an aphrodisiac substance. Every time it had come into contact with her thus far, her hormones had spiked, her judgement had been impaired, and her sex drive had heightened significantly. Not only that, but the voices in her head had been much louder and clearer than ever before. There was more to that stuff she didn't know, and was curious to find out.
She began to write.
