Chapter 9

Marinettes POV

I can't believe I was finally gonna do this. I can't believe this was happening. I'm gonna tell him that I'm Ladybug.
Wait, maybe I'm thinking about this too fast.. what if he gets disappointed? What if he wasn't expecting me to be Ladybug?
I looked up at him and just froze.
He looked back at me and just chuckled. "I can go first, princess.."
My cheeks started blushing from embarrassment and just because of ..him
"O-Ok, I'm sorry"

"Don't apologize" He told me as he was getting ready to detransform, I just stared and waited for him. I immediately felt like I had to throw up again, not sure if it was from nerves or the pregnancy but I knew it was coming.
there was silence for a few seconds until he finally spoke up. "Can you close your eyes and count to 3?" He asks me

No One's POV

Marinette just stared at him with an annoyed look, she then just sighed, she was losing her patience easily, and the mood swings were all over the place. "Fine.. yes" She thought this was dumb but she wasn't surprised, this was the kind of "Chat Noir" thing of him to do. She closed her eyes and began counting, after she finished counting he finally detransformed. Plagg flew out of the ring and stretched, he was so relieved to be free.

Adrien was about to say something to her until she broke the silence. "My eyes are still closed... are you done???" She said in a grouchy tone. He just playfully rolled his eyes and walked over toward her, he gently grabbed her hands and pulled her up from her chair while her eyes were still closed. "You can open them Marinette.." his tone was soft.

Right after he told her she opened her eyes.
She didn't know what to think. All she knew was that she had to throw up, the nausea was getting bad now so she quickly threw up in a trashcan she had in her room.

"Not the reaction I expected but ok," he said to himself. He didn't think she was disappointed, her face just looked blank, until she ran to her trashcan to vomit, he couldn't read her expression at all when she opened her eyes.

Marinettes POV

Oh my gosh, I'm having Adrien's baby. Adrien is Chat Noir. I'm here throwing up in a random trashcan in front of him right after he revealed that he was freaking Chat Noir. I just sat down and covered my face after throwing up, I felt so embarrassed and wanted to cry. I didn't realize Adrien was already over towards me and knelt until I opened my eyes.. "p-please don't.."

Adrien just frowned when he looked at me.. "you don't have to be embarrassed.. " he wanted to comfort her but he didn't wanna push any boundaries or make her feel worse.. "I can leave if you want me to?"

I quickly shook my head and grabbed his hand. "I-I don't want you to.." I whispered to him as I stood up. "I need a moment" I wanted to wash my mouth in the bathroom and clean my face until I told him about my secret..

After a few, I walk up the stairs, open the door to my room, and walk inside. Adrien was just sitting in my chair next to my desk, waiting for me.
I walk over to him, feeling a little bit more relaxed now. "I'm not mad at you. I don't want you to think that either, that was really bad timing.."

Adrien stood up and grabbed my hands to hold them again as he looked into my eyes. "I know you're not.. you've been going through a lot and you're carrying our baby"

No one's POV

When he said that she just smiled.. "yeah.. I am" she said as she looked down

He leaned close and kissed her forehead, he was so happy right now, this was all he wanted, just to be with her and be his whole self with her.. "is there something you wanted to tell me?" He asked her as he looked down at her

Marinette looked at him, she had almost forgotten about that, just being with him was distracting enough.. "yeah.." she said but then she grinned.. "now it's your turn to close your eyes and count"

Adrien was a little bit surprised but he didn't question, he just did what he was told, he closed his eyes and started counting, Marinette was nervous but it was finally happening, she was gonna show him that she was Ladybug.

She backed up from him, taking a deep breath and then she whispered the words "spots on"  transforming into her alter ego. "Y-You can open" She was nervous now but tried not to think of the worst-case scenario

The blonde finally opened his eyes after she told him, looking over at Ladybug. His eyes immediately got big, he didn't have the right words to say right now but all he knew was that he was happy and very lucky to have a girlfriend like her..

"Please say something" Ladybug goes over to him, she was overthinking again, was this too soon? What if she didn't think this through?

"I'm so in love with you.." he told her. He goes over to her. "I can't believe this" "You've been Ladybug this whole time, you're the guardian and you're carrying my baby?" "I am one lucky guy" He felt so proud of her

She blushed lightly. "So you're not disappointed?"

"Why would I be disappointed? I fell in love with you twice. The two young women I've always admired are just one person.  I've fallen for you, rejected you, and fallen for you all at once" "I'm definitely not disappointed"

Ladybugs heart started beating fast, of course she loved him, she fell in love with Chat Noir at least, she wouldn't have had an intimate relationship with him if she wasn't in love.. she didn't have to feel bad for having some feelings for Adrien because she was just in love with one person.. the whole time

She looks up at him, without hesitation, she leans close and kisses him passionately, Adrien kisses her back with passion as he wraps his arms around her waist, bringing her close to him.. This was the best day of his life, he had the love of his life and they were gonna have a little family..
