Chapter 7

Hey guys! It's been awhile, I'm sorry for the long absence..
the reason why I've been so slow was because a lot has been going on in my personal life, mental health reasons too. I also just lost motivation to write but now I'm gonna write again.. my sister also forced me because for some reason she likes this fanfic 🤣
I do appreciate the support and the love this series is getting! If yall have any ideas for this fanfic, something you would like me to add (nothing inappropriate) then let me know!

So ever since Chat Noir found out about the pregnancy he's been around a lot more and maybe... Very protective more then usual. Marinette obviously knew he was already excited about being a father and that made things harder, Marinette wasn't sure if she was gonna keep the baby, she was just worried about being a horrible mother, not giving the care a baby needs so she thinks it's best the baby goes to a loving family that will love him or her, the whole situation was overwhelming..
The other problem was that Marinette didn't even know the identity of the baby's father..
How was she supposed to raise a baby with someone she didn't really know? Chat Noir didn't seem to be thinking too much about this.

Her parents have been more supportive then they did a few weeks ago, her father was still taking time to process everything, he did wonder who the father was but didn't ask anymore questions because he and his wife just figured the guy wasn't gonna be in the picture but she didn't know how he would react about Chat being the father

Marinette had another doctors appointment today, her mom went with her since she offered to come..
The appointment didn't go as bad as Marinette thought, the doctor said the baby was ok and told her she was almost 12 weeks.. Sabine did feel hurt because of her daughter keeping the secret that long but she didn't lecture her about it on the way home, even if the topic wasn't brought up Marinette could tell in her face she looked upset

The next day was rough, Marinette forced herself out of the bed to get ready for school, she did the usual, brushed her teeth, changed her clothes and ate her breakfast, although her idea of a good breakfast was a bag of chips and leftover pizza.. Sabine didn't question anything, neither did Tom.. They just let her do what she wanted, she was also extremely grouchy so Tom didn't wanna make things worse and Sabine already told him to let her handle it..

Alya, Nino and Adrien came by the bakery to pick up Marinette so they could all go to school, Alyas plan was to actually come get her so they could both go to school themselves but Adrien and Nino wanted to come along (and it was just an excuse to get yummy pastries, that was Ninos excuse at least)

Right when the brunette opened the door Marinettes mother greeted her and told them her daughter was in the kitchen.. They went into the kitchen and saw that Marinette was eating leftover pizza from the fridge while sitting at the table.. Nino furrowed his eyes, "why are you eating tha-" He was gonna ask before Alya elbowed him.. "I was just asking" He whispered.. He couldn't blame her though, left over pizza in the morning was his kind of breakfast but he didn't think Marinette would do that..
Adrien thought it was cute, of course he knew about the pregnancy because he was the father but Alya and Nino didn't know that..

The blonde then went over to the table and sat down on a chair across from the blue eyed raven, he just smiled at her, which caused Marinettes cheeks to go red besides the fact everyone was literally watching her stuff her face with pizza.. "why are y'all here, I only wanted Alya" her tone sounded kinda whiny even if she didn't mean for it to be, she didn't expect to see Adrien sitting across the table, looking over at her like this..
To answer her question Alya came over to sit next to her, Nino follows his girlfriend and sat down at the table.. "They wanted to come, and Nino was being a big baby so he wasn't taking a no for an answer" Alya half joked..
"Not true" Nino pouted.. "not my fault their pastries are delicious" He said..
"Well, there's plenty" Sabine told him, she was already planning on getting them something to eat because she didn't wanna let them leave without them getting anything.
She comes back into the kitchen and gives them each a bag with a pastry in it.. Nino had the goofiest grin when he opened his up and takes a bite of the pastry.. "thank you Ms. Dupain-Cheng" The brunette smiled..

Meanwhile after they all finished eating (and Marinette snapping at Nino) Adrien opens the door for Marinette and the other two. They all headed off to school right after..
Marinette goes to her locker to get her books out, Adrien followed her.. He was mainly just protective of her.. Lila walked past them as she smirks at Marinette..

When Marinette noticed Lila she began to wonder something, if Chat Noir never told her he didn't love her or that their relationship is a mistake then is it possible that it was an illusion? Because that was out of his character and she should've known that he would never say those things to her..
Alya had her miraculous though.. there was no way Lila had it
