Sabine was just in the kitchen, unloading the dishwasher since the dishes and bowls were cleaned.. Alya just now left an hour ago so Marinette has been thinking a lot, The situation with Chat Noir hurt her but she couldn't help but have a bad feeling that something was going on. She didn't really know what it was, maybe she just wanted to believe he didn't mean what all he said to her.

Marinette headed downstairs to tell her mother the truth.. Sabine looked over at her daughter as she came downstairs.. "hey baby" she lightly smiled at her daughter.

"Hey" Marinette smiles back at her mother, she felt nervous since she was gonna finally tell her the news about her being pregnant.. She was scared to see her mothers reaction, she didn't know how her mother would react or what she would say?

Her mother looked over at her daughter. "Is everything ok sweetheart? You've just been acting all jumpy lately" Sabine asked with a concerned tone, She had a feeling something was up with her since her behavior has been weird and acting different, Marinettes been throwing up a lot and snacking more then usual. Sabine didn't wanna seem very smothering or assume too much but she was just worried.

Marinette smiles a bit nervously.. "well.. I.. have to tell you something" She spoke softly, she was trying not to show how nervous she was.. The woman took one look at her and then nodded, she went over to her daughter and sat her down on the couch in the living room.. "what's going on?"

Marinette was very hesitant, she didn't even know how to explain to her mother, how in the world would you ever tell your mom that you fell in love with a goofy cat hero and slept with him a few times and then end up pregnant? And he's the famous superhero of Paris, She's gonna leave that part out anyway so she didn't have to worry..

"I..I'm pregnant" She finally said after a few seconds of silence between them.. Sabine looked  at her daughter, she had a feeling something was wrong but didn't expect this to come out of her mouth.. The woman didn't even know how to feel, this was a lot to process. "H..How long are you?"
"A few weeks" Marinettes voice was soft and by her tone she was really nervous, she just wanted to go up in her room and cry herself to sleep..

"And you didn't tell me?" Sabine sounded heartbroken, she was disappointed at the same time but was trying to understand.. "d..did someone hurt you?" She questioned

"No.. no one took advantage of me" Marinette said, her moms tone made her feel even more anxious and felt bad for not saying anything..

"Marinette it's not like you to go around and do this, you have a future ahead of you, have you ever thought about using protection?" Sabines tone was more stern now.. By the tone of her voice Marinette could tell she was disappointed..

"Yeah I know mom I screwed up ok!" Marinette snapped, not meaning it but she expected this reaction. "I'm not getting an abortion either" She made that clear as she stood up from the couch getting ready to leave since she was just fed up..

Sabine was surprised by how her daughter raised her voice but she also felt bad for what she said.. "I wasn't gonna suggest that" Sabine frowns, just looking down on the floor, wishing she could've been there for her daughter more. "I'm sorry for saying that.. I just don't understand.. I'm disappointed but you could've told me before, I would've been there.."

She was upset but she's never ever judged her daughter and didn't want her ever thinking she and Tom were against her.. "did you have a boyfriend?" That's all she could ask..

"It doesn't matter.. he's not in the picture" Marinette said, he obviously used her because he wanted to get into her pants.. He's no different then any other guy even if he was her partner who ended up meaning everything to her..

Sabine didn't question and just nodded, understanding and didn't wanna push her even if she wanted to smack this guy.. "does anyone else know?" Questioned, Sabine

"Just Alya" The girl responded, Her mother looked up at her daughter and stood up from the couch and just went over, wrapping her arms around her daughter, Marinettes eyes were already watering and just began to cry as she hugged her mother, holding onto her.. "We're gonna have to tell your father" Sabine told her gently, Marinettes nerves came back again. "W-What if he gets mad or kicks me out of the house??" She stutters.. "sweetheart he's not going to and even if he did I'll kick him out.." Sabine was being serious too which kinda surprised Marinette. "I'll tell him tonight when he comes back from the store"

She honestly had no choice but to tell him even if she was scared. Marinette was the girl that everyone was proud of for doing the right thing, her parents were proud of how mature she was for her age and praised her for her grades and how mindful she was of others, her father even bragged about his daughter which would make her telling him harder..

So at that evening when Tom came back, from when he got groceries at the grocery store, they all sat down at the table and ate as a family, Marinette was the one who made dinner, it was also just a way to distract herself from Chat Noir and the fact that a human was growing inside her, she knew it wasn't the baby's fault but the thought of being responsible for another human terrified her. She was already responsible enough for the citizens of Paris and the other heroes.. How is she gonna do all that and take care of a baby?

When Marinette finished her food she looked at her father. "I have to tell you something" Sabine smiles at her, letting her know she'll be ok..

Tom looked over at his daughter as he continues to eat his food. As she looked at him he could tell she was about to say something serious and that worried him. "Is everything ok?" He asks her with a concerned tone..

"I've been keeping this from y'all for a few weeks since I was scared.. I already told mom about it earlier" Marinette started, Tom turned over to his wife with a puzzled look then looked back at his daughter. "Do you have a boyfriend I don't know about?" He questioned..

Marinette looked down, not making eye contact but instead of answering his question she just went ahead and said it. "I'm pregnant dad" She said softly but spoke less quiet where he would hear her..

Tom widened his eyes since he didn't expect that, He looked over at his wife and by the look on his wife's face he knew his daughter wasn't messing with him. "Marinette can I have a word with your mother alone please?" He wasn't mad, yes disappoint but this news was just new..

Marinette didn't say anything, she just stood up from the table and quickly went to her room before she ended..

Her whole world just slowly fell apart and she blamed herself, she was really scared and needed Chat Noir more then anything especially in this situation but he didn't even care. How could she tell him?
