Ensuring my edges were laid I grabbed my bag swining it over my shoulders while talking up my phone off the bed. Pushing it in my pocket I walked towards my room door opening the door.

Walking out of my room I walked down the hallway towards yhe kitchen where I heard low noise. Pushing my head inside I saw my mother in the kitchen.

My eyes ran down her attire the shirt she wore looking a little familiar.

"Daddy shirt"

Hearing me she turned around out eyes meeting a smile appearing on her face. Not returning the smile I looked at her drying.

"Good-" Her words where cut short when dad walked in. His eyes ran to her a confused look filling them before he turned to me.

"Mawning" He kissed my forehead before pulling away his face scrunched up. "A wah dat taste suh?"

"Edge control" I laughed as he wiped his lips. "Yav yuh lunch money?" He raised a brow at me once he was done wiping his lips.

"Mhm , will you be home later?" I asked.

"No , aguh pon eh block" He answered his hand going up to my hair puffing it a little. "Wah mi bring yuh gah school? Or yah tek taxi?"

"My friend is waiting on me outside" He nodded engulfing me into a hug. "Lata ny"

"Bye" I pulled away from the hug before giving him a kiss on the cheek. Without on glace at my mother I walked out of the kitchen.

Walking down to the house door I opened it spotting a heavily tinted BMW outside.

Deven reach a school and mi wah guh home.

Closing the door behind me I walked down to the gate unlocking it before stepping out. Turning around I locked back the gate before walking up to the BMW my eyes on my shoes.

Walking over to the passenger side of the door I opened it getting in before closing the door behind me.

"Morning" I muttered leaning over to the side , taking my phone out of my pocket.
