"Hi tahjay" She smiled sweetly as him, but he didn't respond causing her to look up and around the room before her eyes landed on me and I suddenly felt out of place.

She's so pretty, I always thought I was on the extremely pretty scale but she definitely surpassed me.

She had curves in all the right places, definitely thicker than me, and has a more defined structure.

I suddenly found myself comparing my body to hers, inch by inch before she looked away from me and back to tahjay who stood planted in his position.

"Aren't you going to welcome me?" She opened her arms as if to hug him my heart dropping, I waited on him to push her away but he was still stuck, he didn't move a inch.

Oh.

She unwrapped her arms from around him and pushed herself into the room, and that's when tahjay decided to snap back to reality closing the door while spinning around his brows frowned.

"Weh she a duh yah?" He questioned looking at his mother who walked up and hugged the woman who gladly hugged her back.

Tahjay's question wasn't answered as the girl broke apart her and Jay's mother hug then turned to solayne.

"Hi layne" She offered her a smile, solayne didn't answer her expression mirroring her brothers before she rolled her eyes.

"I'm going up, I've suddenly lost my appetite" Solayne shot her mother a glare and turned on her heel then left.

The girl glanced at me once more then turn to Jay's mom with a questioning look.

"Who's her?"

"Oh, nobody, come on dear" She answered not even spearing me a glance as she held onto the girls hand and walked away only leaving me and Jay standing.

I looked over at him, clearing my throat to push away the uneasy and uncomfortable feeling I felt ran through me.

"Let me guess, that's your ex?" I scoffed, "you really don't have a type since you dated me after her" I spoke fixing my sweater while walking to the door brushing past him.

I don't know, Jay knows his mother doesn't like me yet still he agreed to come to her house for a so called dinner since she wanted to "get to know me" now I'm a "nobody"
