Aurora and Philip walked hand in hand as they strolled down the street. Philips grip was so tight on her hand as if he was afraid she would let go while Aurora just tried not to think about their hands touching at all.

When she first grabbed his hand she didn't think much of it but now she was acutely aware of their skin on skin contact and her face was beat red, heart was beating fast, and she tried to hide the big smile on her face.

"So princess," Philip started. He could tell she was nervous and he didn't like it one bit. He couldn't tell if she was nervous from him after just seeing him fight or from the fact that they were in the most dangerous neighborhood in the Kingdom. "When can I take you on that date?"

Suddenly Aurora tripped over herself with a squeak. Philip caught her by the waist securing her next to him with a gentle smile. "You alright?"

"Y-Yes." She managed to get out.

"Good." He said and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. They soon fell back into their rhythm as they walked to the book shop.

"So how bout it then?"

"W-What?"

"The date. I would like to take you on a date, I hope my intentions have been clear. If you would rather us not be courting then-"

"No!" She yelled. "I- I mean, I would love to go on a date with you. And yes, I do want us courting." Aurora spat out real fast. She really hoped he couldn't tell she was nervous.

"Good, because if not we were going to have a problem." He joked. "I haven't been able to get you out of my head since we met and I don't know if I could handle us just being acquaintances."

"Me too." Aurora whispered.

"Hm?"

"N-Nothing!" Aurora wanted to crawl into a ball and die of embarrassment. Had she really said that out loud?

"I would also like to ask your Aunts for permission to take you out." He said. In all honesty, he had never done this before. Before, he never had to ask permission nor cared enough to. Usually the girls he was with, it was for a night and that was it. However with Aurora he wanted to do it right. He didn't want to have any room for error although Philip was certain her Aunts wouldn't refuse him.

"No!" She yelled. "I-I mean you don't have to ask them for permission. At all. Trust me you do not need to ask for permission." She grumbled.

"Aurora isn't that what I'm supposed to do? So they know my intentions are noble? I would rather not have your Aunts thinking I am imprudent."

"And they wont think that trust me! I would just rather this be kept a secret... if thats okay?" Aurora didn't know really what she was saying. All she knew was that if Philip asked her Aunts for permission, they would one hundred percent say no. They barely even let her converse with the people in town that she saw her whole life. Granted, (up until recently) when she entered the town it was always with her Aunts and the "people she saw her whole life" were the same shop owners she got her goods from but in the end it was all the same.

"Whatever you wish, darling." Philips voice got savagely low and she felt a tremor run from her heart to between her legs...again. She often wondered if he knew how dangerously handsome he was. That almost everything he did was so erotic especially that voice of his.

Aurora knew she wasn't making any sense. Traditionally, guardians met the man before the man even met the lady, thats how it usually worked. Aurora knew what they had was very different than how traditional courting was supposed to be, still she didn't care. But she did admire how Philip was trying his best to go about this honorably instead of just jumping the gun.
