Kl Sakshi the owner of the very own Sahul, a startup by Sakshi with the help of her brother Rahul has reached greater heights. Sahul is a clothing brand that is affordable to even the middle class and has great quality.
Sakshi had an over-protective brother who always had so many questions to ask her, but with her bhabhi's help, he always got quiet and stopped asking questions in ways Sakshi didn't want to know about.
Sakshi has been living in Mumbai with Rahul and Athiya for the last 7-8 months because she had some work commitments and was already planning to move here someday she was now living with them till the time she found a flat, and while she has grown very comfortable with them she does have to move out so the married couple can happily live together no matter what they say and has also grown comfortable with her brothers junior who is Devdutt Padikkal.
To no one's knowledge except for herself, Saakshi had grown fond of Dev and has been quite comfortable around him, She has recently discovered her feelings for him even though there has been no indication from his side and Sakshi is someone who doesn't care what the other one thinks, she is always just fulfilled with what she is feeling herself.
Today, she came home after a long day at work to be surprised by Dev and her brother sitting together and discussing something that would be about cricket, Athiya was sitting on the opposite sofa scrolling her phone when Sakshi came and hugged Athiya from behind, surprising her but not before teasing Rahul.
"Tu uski behen hi hain, nanad thodi hai" said Rahul after seeing both of them which cracked all of them up, which led to sakshi coming Rahul's way and giving a tight hug and then went over to dev giving him a side hug as a way of greeting while Rahul was eyeing them suspiciously to which Sakshi just teased him.
A few hours later, Devdutt had already left after making him forcefully have dinner since he wasn't ready to have dinner here.
"Sakshi, kal hume devdutt ke vaha surprise ke liye ja rahe hai toh tu bhi chalna kal holiday haina vaise bhi?" Asked Rahul
"Ha hai toh holiday par Mera Jana Banta hai?", asked Sakshi seeing both of them just talked when he came over for her brother so she was still unsure.
" Ha Ha chal na abhi natak na kar " said Rahul and left the room.
Sakshi had actually already gotten him a gift but she was still unsure whether her gifting it was right or not, she had bought his favorite football team's signed jersey even though she had no clue who they were but for dev she had try to know everything even if it's wasn't same the other way round.
NEXT DAY
Saakshi had woken up late to the sound of her brother shouting at her to which she just threw a pillow at his face and walked out.
They got ready and drove for Devdutt's residence where everyone else was waiting.
"Sakshi" said Riyan, Dhruv and Yashasvi together and came forward to hug her and greet her forgetting that even Rahul was here.
After all the greeting and useless banter, they decided to ring the bell, where they used party popper for a very sleepy Devdutt who got scared with all the noise.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" they all shouted at his face but slowed down seeing his sleepy face.
Sakshi was still shocked with what she was just seeing while everyone didnt care much, Then there was Devdutt standing shirtless, with his deep voice telling everyone to usher in.
Sakshi was red by the time she entered, which didn't go unnoticed by Dev.
*Few hours Later*
Sakshi was sitting and talking with Riyan about her line of work, while Riyans hand was on her shoulder which was normal between them and both of them didn't really care because they were comfortable around each other.
Devdutt had just seen this scene from the corner, and he felt something tinge in his heart which he hadn't experienced, he had also realised that he was also getting fond of Sakshi no matter what his brain says.
The one thing Sakshi knew was she had heard Dev talking to Dhruv 4 months back when he had clearly expressed that he didn't like her in that way so she had accepted and didn't try anything.
Devdutt subconsciously walked towards Riyan and Sakshi, just glared at Riyan and leaned towards Sakshi, which Sakshi obviously found a little surprising seeing this Riyan excused himself.
"Are you and Riyan a couple?" Asked Dev calmly.
Sakshi got up from her seat, started walking towards the kitchen and stated " Why do you care?"
" I do care Sakshi, can you answer my question?" Said Dev following her patiently.
"Why do you care, you toh don't like me, why does it matter that I am with him or anyone else just FYI I heard it 4 months back-
And she got cut off by Dev smashing his lips with hers and roughly kissing her out of breath.
" Just FYI I like you more than you think I like you" said Dev and captured her lips again.
