Sana sat on the chair, having her makeup and hair done by the artists. She was frustrated by Shubman's behavior. It was only the second day of the shoot, and he was already an hour late.
Her first impression of him wasn't great. She had read some rumors about him online, and with Sana's 'no-nonsense' attitude, Shubman didn't care much about what she thought. Bad first impressions went both ways.
When Shubman finally entered the vanity, he sat down for his makeup and hair without even looking at Sana. Perhaps they glanced at each other, but neither acknowledged it.
A few minutes later, Sana was ready for the shoot, but Shubman still needed time. She stayed in the vanity to avoid sitting in the sun.
*Half an hour later*
Shubman was ready, but they were told to wait since some parts of the set were damaged, causing further delays.
Sana got up to get a bottle of water. Seeing her move, Shubman took the opportunity to clear the air to ensure a smoother shoot.
When Sana turned around after drinking water, she was startled to find Shubman standing close to her.
"May I know exactly what problem you have with me?" Shubman asked, his look so intense that Sana felt compelled to respond despite herself.
"No, thank you," Sana replied and tried to walk away. But Shubman grabbed her wrist, pressing her against the wall, demanding answers.
"So?"
"Well, social media didn’t create a great impression of you."
Hearing this, Shubman leaned in closer, so close that if he spoke, their lips would touch.
"You shouldn't believe everything you read," Shubman said, their lips almost brushing. He noticed the red tint on Sana's cheeks.
Feeling the intimacy, Sana's eyes moved from Shubman's eyes to his lips.
"Can I?"
Sana could only nod, and with that, Shubman pressed his lips against hers.
