The last fight

(Idk but I thought of this song while making this)

"I'll use the black lion to lure Zarkon's fleet to our current location and makes sure he's within the teludav's area of effect," Shiro said as we all looked at the hologram in front of him. "Keeping the teludav hidden behind the space-fold until the last possible second is essential." Shiro looked down at the new alien to the team. "We can count on you, Slav?" "Absolutely. I'll be fine" Slav answered but then looked a little bit unsure. "I'm not sure about the gravity generator, though." Hunk looked a little confused. "What? What was that last thing?" "Hiding a ship is one thing, but I've never had to build a gravity generator for something this large before. I know it'll work but I'm not sure for how long."

I sighed and crossed my arms before I spoke. "That's a risk we'll have to take" Shiro nodded in agreement. "Once Zarkon's ship is in position, Kolivan and Antok will coordinate with Thace. Together, they'll take down Zarkon's security system and upload the virus." "And then, he'll be a sitting du-flax," Pidge said in a cool voice while pushing her glasses up her nose We all gave her a confused look. She looked back at us with a confused looked. "What? A du-flax is an Altean creature with a beak and webbed feet"

From literally nowhere, Coran just jumped in like he was a flying horse and said. "We'll wormhole Zarkon 500 million light-years away, and he'll be in the Yggiz Galaxy before he knows what's hit him!" Shiro looked at the Blades. "What about Thace?" Kolivan had his common straight face on while answering the question. "He should be getting into position now. We received his last communication three quintants ago. We  should hear from him soon" Shiro looked back at the screen with a straight face. "Let's do it." While the black lion flew away we all stood still in the control room having some serious tension between us all while no one was talking. I looked up beside me and saw Keith's serious face.

I smiled a little but couldn't get it out of my mind that soon we may have to split causing me to frown We all got to our seats waiting for Shiro to contact us Soon, a screen popped up showing Shiro's face. "Zarkon took the bait. He's got my location. Is everybody in position?" I looked over at Kolivan who had an emotionless face "We've not yet heard from Thace. He was supposed to contact us two vargas ago." Kolivan said and looked back at Antok Antok who still had his mask on continued Kolivans sentence. "He could've been captured." "Or killed. We need to abort the mission immediately." "No. This could not be happening. We were so close to ending this war and we were gonna give up now?" I stood up and said loudly. "Abort? What we can't do that?"

Antok turned his head to me. "The blade of Marmora does not take chances. It's how we survived for so long" "That's why held you back for so long. This is why Zarkon is still in power." I looked at them seriously. " Kolivan did now also look at me. "We would rather wait than jeopardize everything. Besides, it's too late to get someone else on the inside" "I'll do it." I looked at keith confused. "What?" Keith didn't even glance at me instead he took his hand off my shoulder. "I'll sneak onto Zarkon's ship. I'm galra, so I'll be able to interact with their technology." He looked at Pidge. "Pidge, you can rig up one of those pods with a cloaking device, right?"

"Well yeah." Kolivan looked at him. "Going onto Zarkons ship is a suicide mission. I would never command someone so inexperienced to go a mission so dangerous" "No one's commanding me. I'm doing it." "Pidge, get that pod ready. Keith..." He seemed to be fighting with himself if he should let Keith do it or not. "Let me know when you're on your way. I'll give you cover." "Keith-" But before I could answer my sentence he cut me off with a small peck on my lips and then just walked out of the room I looked up at Shiro asking to walk out of the room. Shiro gave a strong nod

and I finally ran out of the room tears nearly bursting from my eyes I ran all I could to the bigger room where the pod were hoping that Keith was still there. The bigger doors opened and revealed Allura and Keith hugging I looked at them in shock I cleared my voice meeting Alluras eye She gently smiled at me "I will leave you two alone," She broke the hug and walked out of the room leaving me and Keith alone "You think that you could just leave without saying goodbye?" I asked and walked closer to him until he was just some inches away "well you would've tried stopping me."

I shook my head and pulled him into a hug. I got on my toes until my lips were closer to his ear and whispered. "Come back to me." We broke away from the hug and Keith go into the pod while he soon flew out of the castle. I felt how my shoulders started shaking and the tears water in my eyes. He was an idiot. The tears flowed down my cheeks like waterfalls as I hugged myself "(y/n)?" I heard Pidge's voice said I felt someone hugging me from the side calming me down. "He will be okay,"

SHIRO: "i don't know how much longer i can hold zarkon's fleets in this position by myself!"

PIDGE: "you wont have to!" pidge flies in and blows some up

Y/N: "not right now anyways!" i come up behind her and catch one of the fleets fighter ships in my lions mouth

SHIRO: "good timing. okay we've got zarkon's ship right where it needs to be we gotta keep it here until that virus is uploaded.

HUNK: "let's do it!"

LANCE: "All right!"

PIDGE: "we got this!"

Y/N: "let's kick some alien butt!"

after we all flown around destroying half of the fleets

LANCE: "oh yeah! that was close!"

HUNK: "Somebody anybody a little help here!"

SHIRO: "lure them to me!"

Y/N: "gosh this all have been annoying."

allura powers up the teludav before even keith gets out suddenly were forming voltron

The fight has been huge this far and It was kind of hard to hold on after still having a fever, even though everyone forgot i had it i hadn't "The power from Zarkon's ship is returning! We need to get out of here! I'm going to get Allura!" Coran said Voltron fought with Zarkon who had wings and I could feel that this was our last fight. Both of them flew right at each other ready to know who won the fight "This is our last chance! Let's finish it!" Shiro said We flew right into Zarkon and an explosion happens making me close my eyes. But then I felt a new kind of power and as I opened my eyes I saw how the sword cut right through Zarkons robot. Making the power flow in the air we all screamed together

"AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Explosion "Did we do it?" "Is it over?" my eyes starting to go blury again Sadly we got cut off my Coran's voice. "I have Allura and Kolivan. We need to go!" we started flying to the castle. In the corner of my eye, I could see the black lion not moving "guys shiro's not moving." i say "we need to tow him back onto the ship!" Pidge says as red and green flew closer to shiro helping him onto the castle. As soon as my lion landed In it's hanger I ran straight for the black lions hanger "shiro?" I say as I felt a hand wrap around my waist as I was about to look if shiro was their Keith pulled me to his chest "he's gone...." I turned around and looked at Keith with sad eyes "no....!!!"
