I gritted my teeth together.
Caroline's loud giggles only added to my anger.
I hissed out a deep breath, shooting her the biggest glare I could master.
Of course it only made her giggle louder.
I scowled at her, "shut up!"
Her giggling continued until she was practically wheezing on the floor, causing a couple heads to turn our way.
I pinched the bridge of my nose, breathing in deeply.
This has to be some mistake?
"Out of all people" She wheezed, "you" She choked on another laugh, clutching her stomach.
I narrowed my eyes at her.
"I am not playing Juliet" I shook my head. I was going to see Mrs Petri next class and beg her to switch my character with someone else.
"So who's your Romeo?" Caroline smirked once she finally calmed down.
Trailing her finger down the list, a fat grin shortly broke out onto her face. "Oh this is definitely fate" she squealed, "Blake is playing Romeo!"
I choked on my own saliva.
No no no no no no no
"You are lying!" I lurched forward, examining the list myself.
{Blake Martinez: Romeo}
My eyes grew wide as I stared at his name in disbelief.
My heart began to thump rapidly against my chest, uneasiness washing over me.
"The two of you will be lip locking soon enough!" She teased.
I shot her a hard glare, "don't you dare start"
She only replied with a final smirk before looking for her name on the list.
Enduring in my own world of thoughts, my stomach clenched at the thought of kissing Blake.
"I'm playing Lady Capulet, Juliet's mother!" Caroline squealed again.
I covered my ears with the palms of my hands, smiling at her enthusiasm.
Nerves instantly began to bubble up inside of me.
Why was I getting so worked up about this?
It's just a stupid play. I kept chanting to myself.

I entered the cafeteria, each table a cosseted huddle of people raising their voices to be heard above the loud chatter. I forcefully pushed past students, scrunching my nose at the smell of sweat and body odour.
I stood in the queue for my lunch, casting my eyes on the students who went about with their lives.
It didn't take long for my eyes to drift upon Blake.
That annoyingly sexy asshole.
My thoughts instantly drifted back to the play. Of course Blake was Romeo and I happened to be playing his 'lover'. I wonder if Blake knew I w-
"Your drooling"
My thoughts came to a abrupt stop by Alecs teasing voice. The hair on my skin prickled up as I felt his presence emerged from beside me.
I shifted, narrowing my eyes at his face.
"Am not" I crossed my arms across my chest with a huff.
