I snuggled discreetly closer to Blake's side, the warmth from his body radiating onto my exposed skin.

The cafeteria was buzzing as Blake and I waited for our friends.
His left arm was draped protectively over my shoulder as he glared at those who dared to look over at us.

This is how it's been ever since our moment in the janitors closet.

There were a lot of rumours going around school that we were dating, but I chose to ignore it although it did make my stomach flutter at the thought of being his girlfriend. I don't think he cared if being close to me was ruining his reputation because he seemed to never leave my side. He had gotten protective around me and the reason why hadn't dawned upon me yet.

The truth was it frightened me. It frightened me because it wasn't something I was used to from him.
There were so many unanswered questions revolving him, his story, that were still nagging inside my head to be known.
I came to the conclusion that when I know him, I will attempt to figure out where my feelings for him lyes, because right now, they are all over the place.

"Hey guys!" I perked up in my seat as Jade came rushing towards us with Jake hot on her trail.

I couldn't help but grin at the sight.

These two had been spending an incredible amount of time together, which made me wonder if anything was going on between them.

"Hey" I smiled brightly, trying to suppress the urge of rolling my eyes at Blake's low grunt of acknowledgement.

It wasn't long till Sky came to brace us with her brooding presence, taking the seat next to Jade. I raised my brows as she didn't both saying hello, alternatively snatching a pair of silver scissors from her bag hand bag, along with a piece of paper.

Our table fell into a puzzled silence as we observed her while she began to cut away at the paper, until it was nothing but demolished into tiny little pieces.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Jake taunted, staring at her like she was a mad woman.

"Some faggot gave me a love letter so I'm destroying it." She snapped, her eyes narrowing into skits at the crumpled paper in her hands.

I choked on my own saliva as soon as the words love and letter came out of her mouth.

Jade giggled, "Who would give you a love letter?"

I nodded my head in agreement, "I thought you had all of the boys shaking in fear of stepping even a meter within reach of you?"

This earned a loud snicker from Jake before his lips fixed into a giant smirk.

Just as sky was about to speak, Luke came walking up to us, taking the seat next to her.

"Hey" he grinned, showing off his adorable dimples and pearly whites.

I immediately smiled back, waving a small hey in response.

"What did I miss?" He chuckled, observing our amused grins curiously.

"What's that?" He frowned, motioning to the cut up paper in sky's hands.
