The next day came around quickly. After eating and having a quick shower, Chinami had fallen asleep rather quickly with Cosmo curled up on her chest. Currently, she was on her way to school, skipping slightly with each step. 

"What's got you so happy huh?" A monotone voice came from her right. There, leaning against a wall was an average height girl with short white hair. 

"Reiko! Oh you won't believe the email I got last night!" The taller girl said, bouncing over towards her friend. Now, both girls were smiling at each other, one more subtle than the other. They continued on their way to school, Chinami practically bouncing compared to the girl next to her. The two chatting girls were soon joined by a third, their other friend Yui who had an uncharacteristic smile on her face. 

"Yui!" Chinami cried, pouncing onto the dark haired girl, "Come on, come on! I really need to tell you and Reiko something!" Dragging both of her friends towards the school gate, both simply laughed slightly and followed. 

"Right, so what is it that's gotten you so excited Nami?" Asked Reiko, a slight nod of agreement coming from Yui. 

"Okay, okay! So, last night I was just going to do my homework for the week, y'know get it done quickly, but then I saw that I had new mail, and I never have new mail so I was like, what even is this?" The words fell out of her mouth so fluently and rapid that it was a surprise anyone could even understand her, but having known her for so long the two before her didn't blink an eye. 

"So I clicked on the email right. It was from UA! First off, I've made it through to the practical exams! Like what the hell? And secondly, I did so well on the written portion that they accepted my request form for general studies, so if I don't make it into the hero course, I'm still guaranteed a spot there!" And as soon as Chinami had finished her rambling, she was tackled by her best friends into a hug. 

"Ah! I'm so happy for you Nami!" Cried Yui as she hung on tightly to her friends waist. 

"Me too! That's totally spooky!" Laughed Reiko. Chinami looked down at her friends with a warm smile before rapping her arms around them both in return. The three stayed like that for a while before they broke apart. However, the sly grins on both Reiko and Yui's face told Chinami they had something to say still. Looking at each other quickly, they both nodded before yelling in unison;

"We've made it to the practical exam too!"

Once again. the three girls found themselves in one another's arms, happily giggling and laughing.  But, not everything good can last forever as an all too familiar purple blob had made his way over towards the group. Feeling a small cold hand on the back of her thigh, Yui squealed loudly, turning around and hitting the male away from her. 

"Back off Mineta." Reiko spat, hand in front of her, ready to use her quirk if necessary. The guy only laughed and smirked. 

"Sorry, but I couldn't help over hear you ladies saying you got into the practical exam for UA! Well, lucky for you, this fine gentleman has also made his way into the next step towards becoming a hero! Just imagine how many hot babes will want me once I'm out saving lives!" He drooled. Yui's face had contoured into one of disgust, imagining the nightmare of going to the same highschool as the pervert before her. 

"You, a hero? That's a joke, right?" Chinami called, her voice neutral but taunting. Like the typical teenage bully. At the girls brash comment, Mineta nodded hesitantly. 

"Don't make me laugh, you'd be lucky enough to make as a sidekick to some busted D lister." She scoffed, grinning down at the trembling boy before her. She crouched down, still smirking darkly before putting one finger up.
