After having calmed down the guy with the glasses, Present Mic had announced that there wasn't in fact a mistake and there was a large zero point robot that would be released towards the end. This had very obviously left the guy feeling slightly embarrassed, letting Chinami feel a bit better about her earlier call out.
The whole ordeal still ran through her mind. What had she done?
Oh well, the only thing dwelling on this will do is distract her from the exam at hand. She had too much to loose for this time effect her. So, like any person would, she sucked it up. Her best friends were ignoring her? Fine. An entire hall of students hated her guts? Fine. She failed the exam? Not fine. I mean, before she'd been alright with not passing but now, after publicly being called a bully and not worth of the title 'hero', she had a point to prove. She'd become a hero.
She looked down at the card in her hands, finding the place she'd take her exam.
'Right, let's do this!'
After the word from the blonde hero, she, along with everyone else, got up and made their way to their respective grounds where they'd change out of their uniforms and take the exam. As she made her way along, Chinami couldn't help but notice the glances and looks she was given. To try and settle the growing feeling in her stomach, she decided she'd try and find Reiko and Yui after the exam. She needed to know what was going on.
Walking up to the entrance gate, Chinami took notice of the mass amount of people surrounding her. All these kids wanting the same thing. She couldn't help but feel bad for those who won't get their time in the hero course, after all, the tests aren't exactly fair from the sound of it. Taking a few deep breaths and little jumps to try and calm down, Chinami tried her best to calm down. Almost immediately the loud siren if the starting bell rang and the hoard of students all ran into the mock city before them.
Due to the fact she hadn't quite yet managed to get a full handle on her quirk the firey eyed girl decided to run away from the main body of kids in fear of hurting them accidentally. Although, she didn't go too far away, the sound of them all fighting would provide her with good noise to use for her sound waves.
As if on queue, a 2 point robot came out from a nearby alleyway, it's scorpion like tail flaring behind it. Chinami quickly dodged as it tried to swing at her, focusing on the noise from a while away. As she continued to duck out the way a few more times, an opening finally presented itself as the large robot lost sight of her. Unable to regain its charge on her, Chinami spread out her left hand in its direction, large sound waves coming out each finger. A direct hit. Many pieces of metal flew around the area as the robot was torn apart by the shear force from the waves.
'One robot down!'
The girl ran further into the dark areas of the city, destroying any robot she came across.
One point
Two
One again
Three!!
She was on a roll, storing up point after point as she went along. At this rate she was certain she'd pass.
Just as she was about to turn another corner, a piercing sound came from the other side. Chinami wasn't exactly sure what it was but it wasn't good. She took slow steps to the wall, back pressed against it as she peered round the corner. A short girl with blunt purple hair was trying her best against four three point robots but it was no use. From her ears, earphone jacks hit the side of the wall next to her as she attempted to project her heartbeat. As one robot raised its' tail in a quick motion, ready to swing, Chinami rushed in.
"Project whatever it was you just did again!" She cried out to the girl behind her. She only got more startled than before, a look of fear on her face at the sight of Chinami.
"Quick!" Chinami begged. The girl shook her head in an attempt to calm down before nodding, projecting a sharp screech.
However, instead of coming out from the speaker on the girls arm, the loud sound came from Chinami's palm along with a very powerful sound wave. Using all her strength, Chinami had absorbed the sound almost immediately and was now projecting it from the palm of her hand. She was only really able to use her whole hand once so she could only hope that this would work.
And it did. Upon impact, the four robots burst into millions of pieces, showering the two girls in metal shards. Thankfully, the purple haired girl had grabbed Chinami just in time, throwing them both behind a nearby car. The sound of metal falling to the ground soon stopped as the two girls caught their breath.
"I- Thank you..." Breathed out the shorter girl, looking at Chinami with confusion. She only smiled brightly in return, paying no mind to the look she was given.
"No problem. I'm Chinami Kazane by the way! It's nice to meet you, your quirk is totally amazing!" She beamed, earning an even more shocked look from her companion.
"Oh, uh thank you. I'm Kyouka Jirou..." She smiled back slightly, taking the out stretched hand Chinami had offered her.
"Well, Jirou, if you don't mind could we partner up for the rest of the exam? I mean, our quirks are totally made for each other!" Excitement leaked out of the tanned girl as she bounced in place.
"You know what, yeah why not." Her small smile had now turned into a smirk as the two girls ran down the street, destroying more and more robots as they went.
"You know Kazane, you're not how I thought you'd be." Jirou commented, as the bell signifying the end of the exam rang through the city. Chinami only gave her a confused look.
"What do you mean?" Jirou paused, her lips turning into a thin line.
"Well, after that video I properly thought you'd be a total bully." She rubbed the back of her neck, as if she was ashamed of her prior thoughts. Chinami however was more focused on what she'd said.
"Video? What do you mean video?" Her voice was quiet, almost hurt. This stung Jirou's heart as she suddenly realised that Chinami had no idea about anything.
"Kazane, there's a video going round on the internet of you full on threatening a quirkless girl, saying you're better than her and everything. It's got like thousands of views, people think you're a complete bully..." She explained sadly.
Everything around Chinami became silent as she stopped walking completely. Her ears began to ring slightly as she simply looked at Jirou with a look of complete heart break.
"What..." She whispered.
"No, that can't- no... I wasn't bullying her.. She- she threatened me, I was only trying to get her to leave me alone..." Tears had begun to well up in her eyes as Jirou looked on in silence.
"Jirou, you have to believe me. It's Kimura, all she does is bully me, not the other way around. Everyone at school thinks I'm this horrible stuck up bitch but I'm not, really I'm not!" At this point, tears had begun streaming down her face. So this is what had happened.
Kimura had made up another lie about her, twisting things to benefit herself and villainise Chinami. Not only that but Reiko and Yui had believed her. After whitenessing first hand what Kimura was like, what she said and did go Chinami. Knowing Chinami, what she was really like, behind the mask she put up for everyone else. They'd still believed the video. Her best friends had left her. After all this time, after everything. Even they had gotten the wrong perception of her, like everyone else.

A/N:
Look at that! Finally gotten to include our main cast! If you hadn't guessed, Jirou is going to be a big part of this story! And I know that Reiko and Yui are both from the actual show but most people wouldn't know that so I didn't really count it when it was just them introduced.
I'm kind of making these sections up as I go as my main plan is for after the entrance exam. Once I get to that point I promise things will get more interesting or at least live up to the name 'BNHA fan fiction' and not just focusing solely on some made up life outside of the main story.
